The way Avery kept saying "It's okay, baby brother, momma's here to help you," literally sent me into hysterics. I could only dream that I had that kind of internal monologue as a (not even) 3 year old. I am still learning how to ask for help because my parents struggled in that area. It is very clear Avery and Wilder will not have those same issues. I hope you two are so incredibly proud of yourselves and your babies! You are contributing to my baby fever and I'm not mad about it.

Avery is old enough to understand when you tell her to be gentle with him, and she was old enough to understand most of what was happening when Sam was pregnant. My niece had her 2nd little girl a couple weeks before Wilder was born...She nearly had the baby in the parking garage...they could not even get her into a room before the baby arrived...her water never broke, she delivered her in the sack. Her older daughter is just 19 months, and she is too young to understand that mom had a baby inside her. She is getting used to her, but she does not like it when her sister cries when she is trying to watch Cocmelon. LOL. I hope Wilder will be a Paw Patrol fan. I'm sure Avery will teach him all the dogs names. I checked out the toys from Target of the cat Paw Patrol spin off. My 20 mo old niece is not into Paw Patrol yet, but she loved cats, so I will be picking those toys up soon to save for her. Congrats on your BEAUTIFUL family. I hope mom and momma are getting rest. This was one of the cutest and sweetest meetings ever!!! You Mom was in awe of Wilder and was bursting with love from the moment she saw him. They're about the same age-gap as me and my sister (save like three days or something) and she has always been one of my est friends. We've fought from time to time, and only once did it turn physical and now I can't picture my life without her. And we did not click as fast, cuz I was too overwhelmed by her presence in the beginning that I broke down crying multiple times. By when she turned two months(a few weeks after me turning 3) we were inseparable and have been ever since

This reminds me of when my parents brought my youngest brother home to meet us way back when. (8 years between me and youngest brother C, 5 years between me and my other brother B, and 2 years between me and my younger sister D. So the age gap between my two brothers is the same as between your two...) B *insisted* that C was *his* brother, and not anyone else's. He wouldn't let anyone else near him, just kept insisting C was *his* and everyone else could get stuffed. Lol (now at 45 and 48, they're still fairly close and do the whole video game nights thing together. It's hilarious.) I hope your kids will enjoy each other's company as they grow and learn together.
