About Roll With Cole & Charisma:
Hey everyone! We’re Cole & Charisma. Since the start of our relationship we've gotten a lot of questions about how we make things work as not only an interracial couple, but an interabled one as well. There are certainly differences, and despite them we have a great time, all the time! On this channel, you’ll find travel vlogs, Q&As, couple challenges, how-to/educational videos and more. We started this channel to bring people into our lives so we can answer some questions about how we navigate the world. We’ll show you behind-the-scenes stuff people typically don't see, and hopefully raise awareness surrounding accessibility and dating in a wheelchair. You'll quickly see in our episodes that we're all about positivity, inclusion, and keeping a great attitude no matter your circumstances, so if that's what you're into, you're in the right place!

Charisma, I totally get that you were kidding...but how powerful would that be?! If someone did a marathon with the wheelchair carrying the partner, rather than vise versa. That would be a total, “We can do anything!” moment and so powerful for those who don’t know anyone who is in a chair!

This vlog gave me the most laughs. Cole waking up is the funniest thing. But having met online peeps in person before it did feel like meeting an old friend when we finally connected. So I get what mean. I was rooting for this collab for a while as well but it felt so weird seeing Shane and Hannah with you guys. And Shane's family! That was cool. This event is close to my heart too.......because my last husband, who died in ‘02, had muscular dystrophy.....although it was heart disease that caused his death. Continued research will hopefully & prayerfully lead to a cure one day soon!

Cole, I use a 1” strap from a shoulder bag to strap my knees closer together. It keeps my knees closer together, to keep my hips aligned better. I also use that strap to carry grocery bags. You can also purchase “sleeping bag” straps at stores that carry camping supplies. They have a nicer clip than shoulder straps. If the shoulder strap has a padded or plastic type band for the actual shoulder, I cut it off. I get mine at thrift stores.

I'm so happy I came across this video. I just recently started following. But have been following Shane and Hannah for several years and had the blessing of meeting them at an SMA Conference. My 10yr old has SMA and is in a wheelchair. I am always searching for positive stories of individuals in wheelchairs so I can show them to her. Thank you for sharing your story. Thank you for being so positive. And thank you ladies for loving them unconditionally.
