But on the other hand I find it hard to comprehend that such a human made construct such as fashion sense has this enormous meaning for these people. You just need to take a step back and realize that nothing of this so-called "dopeness" is real. Are these people buying these products because of the product itself or because of the brand? What if society one day crumbles, will this brand mean anything? Does being a "hype beast" mean anything at all? It's all in people's heads. To me it appears to be an unhealthy obsession underlined by a deep down wish for reassurance and acceptance. Just be who you are and don't care what others think, "dopeness" comes from the inside and free yourself from societal pressure. Invest your time and effort in meaningful things, improve on yourself, pick a new hobby and learn something or maybe try and help others...I'm rambling on, but I hope somebody out there will get what I mean.
