Interview with the last Ninja Jinichi Kawakami and the Professor of Japanese Medieval History & Ninja Studies, Yuji Yamada. video & interviews by Nicky Almasy Music by Pal Csatlos and Epidemicsound
I watched him several times on different interviews, while I find it fascinating I also find it quite sad. Once he is gone a piece of history and core tradition dies with him, I can't imagine why he wouldnt take on an apprentice so that the art stays alive..what a pity.
he actually has many students although not in a "traditional shinobi" but more of preserving arts sense. some of his students still do the traditional trainings like the self-hurt/chemistry and even help on shinobi related research.
I think that in reality ninjas were probably pretty dorky and out of shape. Like people that pretend to have battles with plastic swords in the park. That’s my conclusion after watching this video.
@jessewallace12able Te further back u go the harder life was so u couldn't be a dork surviving back then. Especially as a Ninja. And how u think you'd survive feudal Japan when u probably wouldn't survive without your phone!
Ashura is trying to spread ninjustu all around the world.....kishimoto really did his research....even Ashura is based off of a real character.....i wonder who Kaguya and Indra are based off on?!
He's 74... Japanese people age pretty well, generally, as they lead pretty healthy lives. He's also trained his body, etc and I'd bet he has the genetics for it. I'm not shocked he looks really good. My dad (white guy) and his mom regularly get told they don't look their age. They both lead(led) healthy lives, never smoking, etc. My grandma would go to the fair and people would peg her for 50 or 60 and she'd have to pull out her license to prove she was 80+ and my dad is the same. He's been confused for being my husband and my boyfriend at the time was confused for being my father. xD I use to HATE when people thought I was still in high school but I was in my late 20s and early 30s. Now, at 42, I would be thrilled if someone would card me for some reason. LOL!
Nothing from this guy has ever impressed me, if he does have any training he is hiding it from the public. All I see is what I would expect to see at a Ninja museum to amuse the children. The stuff and acting is straight out of an 80s Ninja movie.
