To me, meeting the right person at the wrong time is more like you’re in love with the idea of the person instead of truly loving them for who they really are. If he/she is the right person for you, you would be willing to go through time and grow together with them even though times are hard and there are a lot of challenges going on. If you couldn’t seem to go through all those things together, then the person is not right for you because you couldn’t see eye to eye in overcoming those things. There’s no wrong time to be with the right person, if there is, then the person is not right for you.

I see a few commenting that meeting the "right" person at the wrong time simply implies that the person wasn't "right" to begin with. Imo the term "right" that is being used here doesn't mean "one and only", but rather a relatively better option amongst all the others. I mean although there are people you may resonate with more easily or have a better first impression of, aren't most, if not all relationships cultivated over time? I'm not sure how many people have went on to spend the rest of their lives with the first person they got romantically involved with, but the fact that dating exists as a culture (as does remarrying etc) means that you probably are able to spend the rest of your lives with different individuals, and though the experiences may (or should) differ, each experience would probably be no less than the other. I think this video is simply documenting how the cast had at some point in time of their life, met someone they could envision spending the rest of their lives together with, but ultimately didn't because of circumstances.

i remember watching a video long time ago, but the takeaway was that if it’s the right person at the wrong time, then that was simply not the right person.

Met my boyfriend (now husband) when i was 17, right after an abusive relationship of 2 yrs. Hence, trying to change my abused thinking and way of life meant that i was also hurting my then boyfriend. Needless to say, we broke up. 3 yrs later when i was in a better place being more confident in myself, we connected then everything clicked without trying so hard.

To all that insists that wrong time means that person isn’t right. I guess you haven’t experienced it. And you should be glad cos that feeling really sucks. Meeting the right person at the wrong time is when studies/money/life or anything that matters to you, gets in the way of your relationship. And obviously you can’t give that up just because you’re in love

Peps story is similar to mine OMG as I watched it. It is okay to stay really really really single until you have found yourself the motivation to look forward into a serious relationship and commitment. No relationship is considered to have a right timing but it is the wrong person that one can fall for and changes your life. I am reaching my late 20s and it is still okay to be really really really single.

Yes. It was one of the guys I met during my poly days... We both liked each other but he liked me more... he tried to change me which kind of turn me off... but what scared me was the baggages that he shared with me. I can’t remember what exactly it was but I felt really scared and I couldn’t accept him. I stopped dating him and that was the end of our relationship. Come to think of it, I wasn’t mature enough to accept him for who he was. But if I were to given a chance to turn back time, I would have taken my time to get to know and understand him... instead of rushing into knowing everything about him... and be more open in our communication... But I have learnt from it and have taken the lessons with me till today...

Right people is timeless. There is no wrong or right time .

feel like the person I am with is like that. like the big age gap and the previous rp baggage and LDR. Being in a LDR means I dun have the chance of knowing his circles and life from all angles, which gives me huge insecurity. Dun know what to do eh.

Feelings cant be wrong . @Peps u definitely can find a guy who can make u secure bc he naturally wouldnt even do these stuff w close girl friends or even have close girl friends. If thats what u want, dont suppress it. I used to suppress my desire for a guy who doesnt have any close girl friends cuz it made me secure, and it landed me in many rses where i just gaslighted myself and dismissed my own jealousy and suppressed my growing resentment. but Now i found a guy who has 0 girl friends, makes me 100% secure and so i have realised that its not impossible to dream big!
