GREAT ARCHERS. KEN DOES NOT ANCHOR. WALT GETS OVER THE ARROW AND SHOOTS FROM THE HIP WITHOUT AN ANCHOR. THIS SHOWS HOW ARCHERY IS AN ART. THEIR SOMEWHAT UNORTHODOX AND DIFFERENT STYLES SHOULD BE A LESSON TO US ALL. THERE'S MORE TO IT THAN POSTURING AND BEING COACHED. THANKS GUYS REALLY ENJOYED AND AM IMPRESSED BY YOUR TALENTS. TAKE CARE BOYS WHERE EVER YA ARE. GARE
3 years later and i've learnt to use small print. this scares the hell out of me. i've watched it several times. walt is amazing and uniquely talented. i believe ken has as good a 45 degree cant style as i've ever seen. i wouldn't have the confidence to do 1/3 of their stuff. so glad we have movies because who would believe it. i'm delirious with respect, and more than entertained. thank yew boys.
Walt is my great uncle. I spent many wonderful days on the desert with he and Aunt Minerva. He was also a great photographer and I have pictures to prove it! Thank you for sharing this! Brings back many memories of my younger days!
I worked with a gentleman named Richard Morley who lived next door to Walt. He told stories of hunting jack rabbits with all boys in Yermo. He said that most of the boys were given nicknames and his was "Driving Dick" because he was tall enough to reach the pedals in the truck that they took out into the desert. I loved listening to his stories of growing up!!
