They had suits because of the pressure down there.... but then Jason Statham just swims without it. Its like the movie forgot about his rule from 15min ago.
I wonder if there's even an iota of possibility in this. Maybe if they were breathing super compressed air for weeks? Relative pressure something? Nah. It's garbage.
Not true. If those numbers are accurate then it's profited about 5 million lol 140 budget X 2.5 for theatres/promo = 350 million total spent. If its at 355 million then yea, around 5 million profit.
@@sleptonitsundays9531it's been reported the studios barely make half of the international box office. Factor that in with your numbers and this movie is a big loss
After reading most of the books in high-school 7 years ago I've been hoping they made them into movies. 2 down so far and while the plot isn't exactly the same as the book I love them so far. Really hope they go all the way
33:00 Idk about shark but most fish scale are very sharp and will cut your hand if your brush it in the wrong direction. But you have to be pressing down and brushing against the scale to actually get cut. A gentle touch is perfectly fine.
…and as long as you’re pressurized the whole time, you won’t get the Benz coming up… when standard divers go down, they’re just in wetsuits and wet suits can’t be pressurized… the submersible and the suits they went out in we’re basically underwater space suits (completely pressurized, otherwise there’s no way they could’ve withstood the depth in the first place).
That was for me btw. the best scene in Star Wars 4 .. the "There is always a bigger fish" thing 😄😄 Btw.: yes, for me the original movies will always be 1-3, just in case somebody wonders.
I think you mean the original will always be 4-6.. And the "bigger fish" scene you mentioned is from Star Wars Episode 1(which is the 4th movie though)
When I went to theater it was either this or Joyride, I went with Joyride (Crazy Rich Asians Writers directorial debut) starring Stephanie Hsu (Eveyrhtning Everywhere all at once) and that actress from "Beef"
Hi Jabu and Achara What a surprise to see both watch your reaction to The Meg 2 the trench 🦈 On your channel and I just saw this movie in theaters 3 weeks ago How are you watching It like RU-vid or Amazon Prime Video ??? Also I've never watched your reaction to both the first and the second one and I watched both the first and second on the same theaters I'm happy that you both are the first on RU-vid I hope others like you watch this movie on their channel ❤!!!
Wu Jing was in a lot of thing. And many of those were very good action movies. Kinda disappointed that the black guy (forgot his name) took on multiple armed men while an actual martial artist is running around all goofy...
Bopping a megalodon in the eye most likely wouldn't work, modern Great Whites have armoured eyeballs, I can only imagine that a meg would have significantly thicker armour on their peepers. Also, when these type of shark attack, they roll their eyeballs back to protect them even more.
I think he kept going after Jason Statham's character cause maybe he wants revenge Jason Statham's character put him in jail for something that is what it sounded like the bad Latin guy was hinting at when we first saw him
Probably cause the octopus let go after he stabbed him underwater whrn the octopus had hom by the the tentacle underwater the octopus felt pain a bit when he stabbed it that is why it let him go
JABY YOU COULDN'T RECOGNISE WU JING? THE UNCLE WAS ONE OF THE LEGENDARY MARTIAL ARTIST FROM CHINA HE HAS DONE FIGHT SCENES WITH DONNIE YEN IT'S A SHAME THEY DIDN'T LET HIM KICK SOME ASS IN THIS MOVIE BUT HE IS AS GOOD AS JASON....
Hey I loved your reaction guys!! I too posted my reaction to this and y’all pretty much had the same idea as me 😂 ya boi Jason Stathumb or however you spell it is protected by God. And Girl what is your name? You should react to movie with me from now on 😉
Don't get me wrong, I love dumb fun, but for me this movie hit too much of the dumb to the point that it wasn't fun. The moment this movie lost its appeal for me was when the rich billionaire announcer lady first spoke to them while they were in the seafloor laboratory. They could not have written a worse line for her to say. "And before you start whining about the ecosystem, who cares? We'll make billions. And no one is going to see the damage we do." I encourage you to go back and listen to those lines again. She says it in the sassiest tween girl voice I've ever heard. The movie lost me after those lines, and never got me back on board. On top of this, there wasn't nearly enough Meg action, instead we got a human antagonist with Montes except the human antagonist can't actually hold his own against Jonas in hand-to-hand combat so never once in the movie was he a genuine threat to anyone. It just felt like the movie was staggering forward blindly the entire time, and the irredeemable absurdity of some of the dialogue left me wondering if it was mostly improvised. The movie was supposed to be stupid and over-the-top and ridiculous, but there wasn't enough of anything genuine in the movie for me to love. The first movie at least gave enough screen time to its titular creature, so I can get behind that.
