In this week's video, I go back to an old, familiar place: Elementary School. Specifically Midwich Elementary School in Silent Hill 1. I stream every Saturday on Twitch at 5 PM EST! Come say hi! // Follow me on Twitter @egghead_meg
Thank you for watching! Let me know what you would want to see more of, and if you're also digging the return to PS1-style horror. I love that its coming back into fashion.
Heyyyy I got a horror inquiry for you. Basically we run a Discord dedicated to all horror, gore, horror movies, gaming, Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Horror Literature...you name it. Considering that you're a big fan of this stuff I would love to have you be a part of it if interested.
Hi, I think I remember you reaching out a while ago. At the time the Discord wasn't really a good fit for me, since there wasn't much opportunity for me to talk about things I was passionate about. If that's changed, you're welcome to reach out via Twitter. :)
@@EggheadMeg Okay, I've accessed the situation here (since I've noticed what happened last time.) I think this all is fully dependent on what you're looking for. I've just opened the chat log, gave as much information as possible, gave a warm greeting then just saw you dip after a week or two. I don't want to presume too much looking from the outset, but I think the issue was a lack of communication or interest. We've been talking about Abandoned, Silent Hill, Resident Evil, etc. I'm not sure if there was a missing link there or not. That being said I'm always up for clarifying anything in text or voice if it gives any reassurance/second chances.
The issue is that you try to get people to sign up, and then all of the topics anyone would want to talk about are booked up. I'm happy to talk Silent Hill, but if you're coming to me with that opportunity and then the opportunity isn't available, I'm not sure why you would offer it in the first place.
@@EggheadMeg Yeah, there's a misconception here for sure. Several new people have gotten on activities and their names have been prioritized in our event sheet over older folk. Also there's guest slots where people can come in at the end of the show, and a stage was created so anyone can publicly hop in (which happened with our Dead Space Remake podcast.) This is a SEVERE miscommunication thing on the other end.
