I did it, GeminiLaser! After about two and a half years of practice I've finally beaten this solid game! Thank you for your helpful tips on the bosses. Just today, about a few hours ago I screamed with amazement as the yellow devil died, and then from there, I spent the next few hours clawing my way to Doctor Wily's final stage! I am officially a Mega Man fan and want to thank you for your good videos. Your channel hasn't seen action in a while, so I hope that wherever you are you find a way to keep it alive and keep making your great videos.

There's actually a little neat trick were if you're using Gutsman's power against the clone while you run to the left side of the wall, the clone will never hit you and will just run back and forth.

7:36 you can see Dr. Light pop up for about a millisecond. For me usually this is 2 garbled up megamans with their eyes closed...

My idea as to why wily had all those gutsmans is before wily stole the robot masters, he tried to build his own GutsMan. He failed multiple times, so he kept them allin one room.

The reason there is Gutsmans in the ceiling ( I've heard) that it was a army but he kept them in storage so dr. Light or megaman might reprogram and use for good so he hid them

You know, aside from using the pause trick with the Thunder Beam, the Cut Boomerang is actually the best weapon to use against Dr. Wily's second form.

My thought about the Gutsmans (Gutsmen) is that Dr.Wily plans to use them later, as he does. He's too lazy to build another one robot model each time.

I just watched this as a bit of a guide to beat the final boss for the first time (I was using the wrong weapons) but as I ran out of elec beam for the last few shots, I pulled out Cut Man's weapon. Turns out, it'll usually hit the machine 3 times, sometimes only 2, and you can jump to shoot without hitting the peak making it easier to dodge the swirling orbs.

@GeminiLaser Let me re-phrase myself. While you're *equipped* with Super Arm in the Clone battle. It's almost as funny as Skull Man where he doesn't do anything if you don't do anything. Also, if you press your attack button, you can forcefully make the clone jump around too, just so long as he's far away from you so that he doesn't jump at you.

Huge facepalm around 4:05 since never thought of using the bloody magnet beam there. Died billion times trying to make that jump up and down that block near the ceiling. Plus the addition million deaths during the boss gauntlet. Followed with a single game over on final Wily and an inevitable ragequit.

i know why he looked like astro boy. MegaMan was originally going to be an astro boy game. (Dr.Light looks alot like Dr.Elephant) It's also based in a futuristic world where one robot has to fight evil robots made/reprogrammed by an evil scientist

I think Dr. Wily is obsessed with Gutsman. Think about it: Gutsman as a giant tank in Megaman 2. Gutsman rebuilt in Megaman 7. Also helmetheads are part of the Gutsman stage, the most iconic enemy in Megaman Gutsman represents Stone as Megaman represents Rock...

You know he probably looks like astro boy at the end because before it became mega man, it was originally going to be an astroy boy game. But because capcom changed their minds, mega man came into the world.

I may not be the only person who noticed, but bubble boss's health bar is the same color that the robot inside the bubble is... well, maybe not the whole robot, but you know what I mean.

I very much prefer having to re-fight the bosses in the middle of the fortress stages. It makes it more difficult because you can't really choose who you fight. It forces you to try harder to preserve special weapon energy because there's allways going to be certain robot masters that people have alot of trouble beating without their weakness. Plus, I allways appreciate game designers designing sections of their games to be challenging.

What's strange about the CWU-01P(3rd Wily Manufacturing Plant boss) is the amount is different in Powered Up.There are seven CWUs here,but PUs amount has been reduced to about five.But they get a neat laser that's impossible to dodge in hard mode.Also,PU gives CWU a voice similar to that of a Dalek,where instead of "EX-TERM-IN-ATE!",they say "EL-IM-IN-ATE!"

Since you mentioned it, I feel obligated to ask. MM:PU's Wily Stage 4 - how do you feel about it? I cannot count how many times I've died on that last jump across the Guts Man stage type moving platform gap thing. I have tried so hard to practice that jump, and I just cannot get a consistent feel for it. And that's to speak nothing of how many times Hard mode Wily has made a fool out of me. (I almost want to swear they *wanted* massive slowdown when Wily uses/spams the oil blobs...)

I don't recall whether his lab has a canonical geographical location, but occasionally some real cities do get mentioned. Like, I seem to recall Dr. Wily is supposedly from Tokyo.

you had a couple of close calls in this video. at the bubble boss when you threw the last block i thought you were gunna miss for half a second there. and the final battle? if wily had hit you one more time megaman was gonna be history. but when it all comes down to astro boy returns home and lives in peace......untill capcom comes up megaman 2....
