@@InkubozuNikki Yeah, the Doc Robot based on him was weak to Magnet Missile and Hard Knuckle. Still, I'd have made him weak against Spark Shock instead of Hard Knuckle, since that makes more sense, but that's just me.
There's no way metal man is most iconic, it's definitely cut man that's iconic, and honestly I'd say the most iconic song is guts man stage, but yeah metal blade is the most recognizable weapon
"*insert old game here* is the original Dark Souls" yeah f off I beat this game when I was 10 and this was in the early 2010s and it took like 3 hours. Now Castlevania and Ninja Gaiden are the original Dark Souls.
DarkSouls might not be Capcom., but iirc Capcom is stuff like Monster Hunter and Dragon's Dogma, which can be pretty challenging games. Sure they're a LOT tamer than the classic NES-era franchise, but idk, looking at their roots with MegaMan, and how Megaman himself grew as a franchise spanning multiple spinoffs that became their own series (still hoping for a new/reamstered Battle Network/Starforce), you can wonder what they'll cook up next, not just for the Blue Bomber himself but as new franchises and new entries in established franchises. Heck I heard many good things about Megaman 11. Anyway TLDR: it's interesting to see what Capcom became from Megaman to everything they are now.
The song and game of my childhood, I’m so grateful to have older brothers so I could play NES/N64 when I was a little kid while they played PlayStation 2 😂
Capcom: Alright team! Our first Mega Man game was good, but how do we impro- Random dev: A weapon so broken you won’t even use the mega buster anymore! Capcom: YES!
“This does not concern you, metal man.” - Thor from Avengers (I really think he mistook Iron Man for Metal Man from Mega Man II, because we all know Asgardians play the NES).
This song is my absolute favorite from the past years till today ❤ Also played that on electric guitar at it sounds so great. 🎉 But of course, the whole MegaMan II Soundtrack is amazing and very special 😅
this song has a similar melody to remilia scarlet’s theme, i’m wondering if ZUN also had this song in mind along with Patethique. or maybe that’s just me overthinking
This game's soundtrack composers definitely knew what they were doing if they wanted to make it as catchy as possible and it definitely shows here but besides the catchiness this gives me kinda disappointing and boring regular vibes.
