It's a funny thing, The seiyuu of ClownMan and AquaMan is called Chika Sakamoto(Same as Agumon), However, in the US Version and Europe Version, the ClownMan's voice actor is the same as MegaMan's(Ruth Shiraishi) while AquaMan's voice actor is the same as Roll's(Michelle Gazepis). Yeah, So strange and funny. But Anyome Mentioned?
That's why 8s Masters are my favourite! The voices gave them personality instead of the being things to destroy. Sword man is my fav as he is honourable and sportsmanlike

I swear these are the WEIRDEST bosses…mostly Grenade Man, who, canonically, is a sadomasochist. I didn’t realize that til I was older and when I did, I almost died laughing at the irony. (Too much… overdrive and he’ll explode!)
This is awesome thank you. I am playing megaman anniversary collection on PS2. Boy is it a blast and a blast from the past. My only recommendation is you should have added their death phrases.
My pleasure, but well I don't really like some of their death quotes, only a few like Gernade Man "That felt good!" and Clown Man "See you in my dreams!". But a bit of warning when u play on PS2 anniversary collection is that the voices for some reason a few of the robot masters sound in Chipmunk voices like Sword Man for example.
@@leongyuhinleong thanks for getting back to me. I understand not liking all their death quotes but for aesthetic sake and so it's complete thought I would mention it. Honestly I only ever played mega man 8 growing up. I had 10th anniversary edition. So I figured hey why not get this version for PS2 brand new for $7 and I get the others I never tried. I notice there's a secret section so can't wait to see what I can unlock there's also 2 unlockable games after 8 that are just ???. That's pretty neat. Also I did notice the weird voice change with swordman. His voice gets chipmunky when he says "fire slash". I also noticed the music in game is spliced odd. Don't know if my memory serves me incorrect or the original games music was always like that.
Well I probably had my reasons for not recording them, but yeah it's been awhile since I last touch the old PS2 anniversary days, I know a few changes they made and bad thing I know it's that the controls are fixed and u cannot change them, also I remember megaman 7 the staff roll, there is no scene of megaman walking at all, just the credits itself alone. Megaman 8 yes it is still part of my childhood and game I got from PS1 along with Megaman X4. I believe those 2 hidden games are Megaman The Power of Fighters 1 & 2 which is an old arcade game.
thoughts: -tengu: kinda unenthusastic guy -frost: this man forgot his lines mid sentence huh -clown: he sounds like a teenage black girl and uh. its not fitting -grenade: hes ok i guess. however the "cute bombs" quip is like...not a good attempt at the scarface reference they were going for, f-- -astro: hes just a nervous boy i love him -sword: a british boi, but again hes not that enthusastic -search: he got 2 voices and neither of them are appropriate for a soldierman, they both sound like the comic relief -aqua: again he sounds a little too much like a girl for Believable Male Man. i appreciate that hes enthusiastic tho, he otherwise fits the kind of guy who introduces himself by writin his name on a rainbow

I think astro man's voice was done the best (funny, fits with animation and doesn't make me want to throw up). Search man's works, and tengu and frost are passable. The rest make me ask why they wouldn't just keep them all silent.
It was very rare that Mega Man 8 is the only Mega Man series have epic voices, anime cutscenes and 32-bit glory. This is why I love this game so great in my childhood. Sadly, after 8, it went back to 8-bit in the next two games (9 and 10). Oh those good old days. I love this game.
MegaMan8 has a special place in my heart. The animations, it being one of the easier titles, and the overall practical usage of weapons throughout the stages.
What he actually said was "I will beat you", but he sounds so stupidly hilarious, that I prefer to write the line as all-lowercase with no punctuation and all the "you" replaced with "u". I think I got the idea from a comment on Caddicarus's review of the game.
