"It is a crazy hack with a lot of fun random levels and bosses such as Mario, Bomberman, Kamen Rider, and Woodley from Kirby. You are Mega Man CX, a clone of Mega Man created by Dr. Wily to Defeat Dr. Light. And you can play as Quick Man in this hack too."

This was during the height of Mega Man rom hacks, even the bad ones are memorable like Cut man's Bad Scissors Day.

In technical terms, this hack is some kind of witchcraft and deserves respect, but in terms of the plot ... it's just some kind of nonsense. Mario, Kamen Rider, Bomberman, Kirby??? Why??????? It's so dumb and doesn't make sense at all. Repels any desire to play it.

I loved this hack when I first knew about it. I loved the idea of playing as a Mega Man created by Wily and the Mega Man X3 references were a nice touch.

Funny thing is that I can TOTALLY see Bomberman being an actual Robot Master as opposed to BombMan

It feels kinda funny that Mega Man is one of the 8 Robot Masters, yet bro could be like Vile from MMX1 and appear at the Light stages, and he DOES in a dialogue... This hack takes a lot of inspiration from X games

Well, have his merits to try something new, but the lags and flickering show than is to much for Megaman 2 capacities (and don't help put many enemies). The music from X series sounds very nice and the pseudo 3D when you get a robot master abilities is very impressive, but again, the music with the lags is almost unpleasant to ear.
