My first taste of souls-like difficulty during my childhood.. Learning Animation cancelling, reading bosses tells, positioning and not being too greedy... Such a classic.

For a playstation 1 game this game had some pretty great graphics

This game was so hard for me. The boss took me a month to beat. I absolutely loved legends 1 & 2 and not having a 3rd is one of the most disappointing moments in game series history! The music is dope!

Fun Fact: This is chronologically the last boss fight in the entire Megaman canon.

It said "The End" instead of "To Be Continued". I think they were trying to tell us something back then 😔

What a shame this game never got a part 3, I loved this game as a 12 year old kid. I'm now going grey and feeling age's effects, I was hoping to have a sequel before I'm middle-aged.

*One of the most thrilling and epic boss fights in gaming history.*

The set up of the Elder Systems being reactivated and the fact that Trigger's main function was to terminate "Aberrant Units" is such a great set up for future events that could have made a stronger connection to the past series, especially the possible idea of a malignant virus type force from the old world still laying dormant in these most ancient, formerly offline facilities on Terra. A prequel 2D Legends title would have also been sweet with Trigger in his original form fighting these Aberrants and eventually against the Mother System with the final battle being on Forbidden Island against Sera. I also always just cheesed this 2nd phase of the fight with the Shining Laser.

Megaman Legends 3, they finally get to the moon to retrieve him. He's in his late 30's, sitting around in just his underwear with a huge gut drinking beer and watching sit-coms.

When the boss says "well, trigger". I had to use the shield weapon. It was the only attack I could not avoid. So the final form I literally had a pea shooter.

So much later that the Fans got tired of waiting, and they had to crowdfund a new one.

Trigger, Yuna and Sera were able to make peace in the end. Certainly a step up from Juno thinking he has the last laugh by activating Eden and uploading his consciousness to cheat death only for Data to go "lol no" to both those things.

When she says trigger, and shoots those yellow orbs. I could not dodge, so I had as my secondary weapon, a maxed shield. Made the last form a bitch. A pea shooter. 🤣. This was launch year. I miss those days.

Sera commands enough power specifically designed to completely wipe out everyone on Terra, and yet her motivation is daddy issues

I finally got to playthrough this game recently and just fought Sera, my god with how easy Juno was in the first game I was not expecting the difficulty from this fight. It took me forever

I'm a bit surprised at how they play being stranded on Elysium for giggles. Sera's all like "tee hee we're stuck here cuz I killed your pilot" and Yuna's like "yah you did, he dead lol." Justice for Gatz man, he was a good boi.

Did anyone else ever wonder if the argument between Roll and Tronne at the end had a double meaning? As in, like, if it were in reference to the creator and Capcom, and Data has to tell us it isn't going to happen?

This along with geetz and geiminshaft phase 2 are my favorite boss themes in this game.

The reason why rocketry seems like such a lost technology in the Megaman universe is because even by the original Megaman timeline, rocketry was seem to be known as old world human tech and therefore didn't have much need or use. Even in the X series, rocketry was sparingly use and by X8, one of the Maverick Hunter's navigators even mentions how "nostalgic" it is hearing rocketry. From what I remember, the canon timeline for Megaman was: Megaman -> Megaman X -> Megaman Zero -> Megaman ZX/Advent -> Megaman Legends Somehow it makes you realize how dark the series progress from a high sci-fi golden age world from the original Megaman, to a now 8000+ years into the future where humanity is practically non-existent like Megaman Legends (Carbons are essentially the successors to both humanity and reploids as they become essentially one, human in life style but able to customize their bodies like reploids).

I was creeped out by the Shubafun... For those who do not know, Shubafun is the enemy which triggered upon stepping on it. It traps you and drains your lifebar...

It just really isn't fair that the Legend series will never have closure, ever. I get that it didn't sell well but it was the only megaman game with an actual plot and not the same villian. You grow to care about these characters and the world of Terra. Just stuck on this cliffhanger till the end of time.

The megaman legend series was the best megaman series I've ever played, and that's coming from a huge fan of the x and zero series. A true masterpiece of it's time and we'll never get a conclusion. It hurts, man... Fighting sera was my favorite part of the game. It was so epic. What am amazing story. Sigh..

We need a Mega Man Legends 3! (But for the 3DS was canceled so... why not for the Nintendo Switch?)

So, does this take place after the ZX series. Seems like there's some hint of Legends' influence over the mech designs in the ZX series.

at the 14 minute mark, why do her words make me want to cry? man I really wish they at least made an anime adaptation of this, if they are so insistent on not continuing the series in the realm of video games.

The sad thing is that so far there is is no MML 3 but back in 2010 it came close.......sigh Capcom do something awesome, bring back the Megaman franchise MML 3 would be a great rebirth of the franchise
