something i've noticed while watching. classic has a prideful streak, and attacks X to prove who's better x is a soldier, and knows exe and starforce will focus each other so he moves to thin the herd by going after classic and volnut exe and starforce both see each other as the biggest threat to them, so move to take them out first, as strategists and volnut is out of his league and shows he knows this very well

Honestly, Classic grabbing onto X half-dead was chilling. Like, "I know you're done with me, but I'm not done with you."

Deaths Explained (in order) Volnutt: died from the black hole explosion. He was knocked into it by Megaman classic when X attacked him. Classic: Died to X during the black hole explosion. X fully charged the mega blaster and shot as soon as he was sucked in, causing it to explode and wipe out the city. *Volnutt and classic died during this. Megaman.exe and Star were badly injured, but .Exe was able to heal himself. X almost died, but his metal core survived, so he regenerated. Star was the only one still badly injured, and he decided to go into X’s body* X: died to the mega laser Star: Since he was still inside of X, he died when X died. That moment where he briefly appeared in the laser was meant to represent that. This is just to anyone confused about how they died, since there was a lot going on.

Star Force achieving an actually pretty good future was the real victory here

Fun fact: After SpongeBob vs Aquaman, MegaMan.ExE is no longer has the fastest recorded speed. That now belongs to SpongeBob at an outstanding 8.2*10^78 times FTL

Dr. Light most definitely contributed to the world going to hell, but the one who wanted the world ruined was Dr. Wily, as he created Zero and the original Maverick Virus that caused the Maverick Wars. If Zero was never found, most of the Mavericks X had to face would have just been Reploids who just made the wrong decisions, instead of have entire Uprisings like the canon games. That's not to say there'd never be any Rebellions, but they would be as destructive as Sigma's were if the Virus played the role it did in the timeline.

I’ll never forget that huge breakdown Boomstick at the end of Volnut’s segment. I don’t think we’ve ever seen him express this level of existential despair since then.

What’s sad about the classic era is that Rock wasn’t even the first prototype of his kind. Protoman, or Blue, was technically one of the first robots Dr. Light ever made. He was nuclear powered, but there was an issue with his core that was near fatal. Dr. Light was gonna fix it, but Blue feared his memory and free Will would be wiped away, so he ran and almost died before being repaired and tricked by Wily. While he eventually found his way back to Rock and Dr. Light, his story is honestly kind of sad. I also want to see Protoman in a future episode of Death Battle, but I don’t know who he could fight, and preferably win against.

that was one of the BEST death battles i have ever seen. i didn't know too much about the MEGA MAN series until this point. it's really SAD that at the end of the original TIMELINE, it did not have a HAPPY ending for EVERYBODY involved.😞

I love the detail in the animation where how each of them fought off the black hole showed just how strong they were relative to each other. Volnutt was fucked. Classic gave a good effort. X barely survived. Geo was damaged but could still pull through. EXE just shrugged it off with a Recover chip.

Two battle robots, two cosmically powerful entities, one a computer program, the ither some radio waves, and a guy in power armor. Poor volnutt. You're too good for us.

As someone who grew up on the Battle Network and Starforce games, I figured it would have to come down to those two considering their cosmic level feats. I was really hoping Geo would win though since he comes out on top as my favourite Megaman between the two of them! Anyway, time to go replay those games on the Switch.

I just realized this now, all of the Mega Man versions we see in this Death Battle are eerily similar to the five main protagonists from the Yu-Gi-Oh series. Classic Mega Man: Wants peace and harmony between humans and robots, fights evil, and will help anyone in need Yugi Muto: Wants friends, fights evil and helps people in need despite the risk Mega Man X: Was dropped into a war he didn't want to take part in, cuz he's a pacifist, which cost the lives of a lot of people, has a lot of weapon equips for any situation, and has another AI inside him Jaden Yuki: Always up for a duel, was dragged into a responsibility he didn't want to cope with which cost the lives of a lot of people, has an evil alter ego, a vast array of Elemental HERO cards for almost any occasion, and another person literally living inside his soul Mega Man Trigger/Volnutt: Was created in a area above Earth, Earth which, in the past was almost destroyed due to negative emotions which had corrupted humanity, was told to let the people have power over the planet again instead of a machine, and was turned into a baby, lost his memories and was sent to Earth where he was raised by humans, and sets out to find his lost memories Yusei Fudo: Was actually born in New Domino City: a high society place and was sent to Satellite: a literal garbage dump upon the Zero Reverse, a wide spread disaster/meltdown of a perpetual motion machine which gave humanity infinite energy, which is powered by human emotions, that spun in the opposite direction thanks to the negative emotions in humans, which split the city into two sections, and caused almost biblical natural disasters, which, I may add, in Z-ONE's future timeline, the negative feelings, greed, pride and emotions of humanity caused it to spin in the opposite direction again and explode while also creating Terminator-esque robots which had ended up killing all of humanity off, save for a few stragglers. Mega Man.Exe: A virtual version of Mega Man, who also has a human partner, Lan, who together, they both fight viruses and compete in tournament-like competitions, Lan has a vast array of Battle Chips for any occasion, and Lan and Exe are actually brothers I'm not gonna put the rest, but you get it.

I love volnutt just had the tiny itty bitty advantage of having his weapons be manual. A small victory.

Man, they did Volnutt so dirty. Even though he is clearly super outclassed, I expected him to actually use his arsenal and have a creative development even though I knew fully well he would lost. He could have even used the drill quick slide to get out of the black hole's influence, or even the energy/defense shield, which in essence makes him invulnerable for a while.

Looking back at this fight, I only have two problems with it. Voltnut didn’t run laps around the fight enough, X never used the nova strike.

Just to note. Even if he was present, Vent probably would go out near the same time as X. Probably why vent was involved was because his go to is his Zx form. Which looks more like Zero than X.

26:50 This is probably one of my favorite parts of the episode. In the TMNT Battle Royale, Boomstick had no faith in Michelangelo and thought he was a druggie. In the Pokémon Battle Royale, he said Venusaur looked ugly and showed no sadness over its loss. In this, while he calls Volnutt a “diet megaman”, he stills shows pity to him and even commends him for the one advantage he did have.

I was expecting for Megaman.exe or Megaman Staforce to win but I didn't expect that Megaman.exe outclassed the others that much. Damn.

The only reason I can accept that EXE has full access to his powers in the real world using any means but that damn robot in the last game is due to the fact that data, energy, and matter are all interchangeable in the Megaman Universe using the X series rules (Proven by Antivirus Z-Saber)

I love how Geo temporarily took over X and fired a supercharged *Red Gaia Eraser* which CRACKED THE DARKAURA. The same DarkAura that let EXE *survive the destruction of the entire Cyberworld universe.* Even if he lost, props to him for that.

They just forgot a few things, and it's about Megaman.Exe and Geo Stelar, and it's that they can use Program Advance (Galaxy Advance on the Geo side)

Also, despite Star Force coming after him in canon, Star Force is not considered his superior in the same way X is to Mega Man Classic. 26:31 According to the manga, Cyberworld is its own dimensional plane similar to our own.
