There sure is some cruel irony in the fact that, when playing the Wily Fortress levels as Fire Man, you face the one non-Robot-Master boss that is weak to fire in this game (Yellow Devil) and then being taken by surprise by the worst boss to fight as Fire Man (the aquatic Dalek thing, whatever it's called).

My theory on why Oil Man is weak to Fire Storm: This one is the easiest but it is because oil is a very flamable material. My theory on why Fire Man is weak to Ice Slasher: When ice melts it turns into water, i will let you think of the interaction between water and fire

There's also that thermic shock can make metal fragil and brittle - as to why it doesn't make the contrary true, maybe because fire storm is just fire and ice slasher also mechanically hits?
