I see comments almost every other day on my Mega Man X medley about how I forgot this one. It's funny how when I make a medley and choose to omit a song because of whatever reason people see it as me "forgetting" it as if I just picked these songs based on memory and laid them down then. Well, I guess that actually would be impressive so maybe I should take it as a compliment.

Indeed. Most people say their favorite is Spark Mandrill or Storm Eagle (personally Flame Mammoth is mine), but Mega Man X1 is one of those games where you could say any of the music in the game is your favorite and you would be right.

Dude... this brought me back... You really captured the soul of the Mega Man X style. The music from that game franchise lends itself well to metal as it is, but you straight up cranked the heat on this one up to eleven. This is possibly my favorite Mega Man cover of all time. It's utterly flawless. PS: PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE do the "Zero Theme" from X3. And maybe the opening Zero stage of X5...

Honestly no one ever covers Flame Mammoth's theme, its always Spark Mandrill, Storm Eagle, or any late game theme. So to see this getting some love is great, definitely an underrated theme from this game. Good job man!

fuck yea this was MY FIRST video game ever. Megaman X has one of the most melodically impressive soundtracks of any video game ever. I Was 5 years old and was so addicted immediately that I wouldn't get up to go to the bathroom to stop playing I'd just piss my pants in my seat. LOL and when my mom took the seat away ( she was NOT happy ) I would just sit on my bed and PISS on it :D LOOOOL :D

Imagine a MMX1 remake with high quality sprites and animations, maybe something like Square's 2DHD style (not 3d models like de PSP one) and music rearrangements like this.

Fuck yeah, this is rad. However, can you accomplish another equally, if not moreso, challenging task. choices are a) x-hunters stage 1 from megaman x2. b) a medley/ combo of zero's themes at least from x1-x3. or c) Cutscene from megaman X1 flowing into the intro for X5 (which samples from it.) Complete any of these tasks, and you will be declared an Elite Reploid Rock-Star. Should you fail, then I know it to be truly impossible.

You completely missed 2 repetitions of this 0:19 - 0:26 twice both in the beginning and end of the song making the tune even shorter, the song for flame Mammoth lasts 54 seconds before it loops again, yours is 12 seconds shorter precisely because of 4 missing parts. Did you do it on purpose? if so why? what improvement comes from it? it just sounds incomplete

How people can give this a thumbs down does not compute. You can tell the composer for Megaman X and was a metal fan.. I imagine this is what they envisioned. Id love to hear the full Boomer Kuwanger song. Your interpretation in the Medley is epic!
