I just got back from San Japan last week and it was incredible to go to a con again and meet so many of you guys! I was suprised and grateful of everyone's attention to safety there, but I was also suprised how many people specifically referenced my Mega Man X medley as their favorite work of mine. When I came back, I was so inspired by those comments to yet again, revisit and do a full arrangement of a song I only breifly played in the medley all those years ago.
This past weekend I had to make another trip up to LA so I didn't have time to really go all out on a video idea or take anything particularly challenging or time consuming, and Mega Man music is always my go to since it rips so hard and it's really curated to guitar, however I always tend to still try to push myself to make it interesting so I tryied to make a compelling arrangement and solo section and really tediously layer in cool instruments here. Hope you enjoy!

The word "kuwanger" comes from the word "kuwagata (クワガタ)" which is Japanese for "stag beetle." japanese developers made a pun with combining "kuwagata and boomeranger" to make "kuwanger" and this confused the translation team as they had no clue what a kuwanger is. Boomer Kuwanger is also the reploid brother of Gravity Beatle from the X3 game.

That's funny, because in the remaster of megaman x for psp, the narrator says: boomerang kuwanger, and not boomer kuwanger like the original game.

Decently appreciated because it's in X1 if we take into account all the other megaman X games. There's a lot of underappreciated songs in X3 which i guess not that many people played in comparison to X1 or X2 because it was harder or something.

This is actually really awesome for me to watch you do Mega Man X again! Ever since I saw your original Mega Man X Guitar Medley it made me appreciate Video Game Music so much more and I started seeing it as actual music instead of just being in a video game! It even inspired me to make my own channel years later and make Video Game Covers as well! Playing along to all your covers has definitely made me a better guitar player as well. I had this game on SNES when I was a kid with no memory card (didn't know that one actually existed at the time). So, I had to start from level 1 over and over. I remember this was one of the early bosses! Didn't realize this song was so sick!
