I've heard the x3 soundtrack with an x1 arrangement. I've heard the x1 soundtrack with an x2 arrangement. Now it should be time to hear the x2 soundtrack with an x3 arrangement.

2:24 For some reason, i've always loved those 5 notes from the guitar. They have some kind of added power to them using this soundfont.

Zero's theme gaves me goosebumps. I just love it! Ah, I think all remixes sounds like a simple, but impressively accurate, soundfount swap. Very cool to hear, even without the vibrato/portamento effects seen in MMX1. Keep up the good work!

Some are better, some are worse. This is more of a novelty piece if anything, like MMX1 in MM7 style. Yes, that exists and it's great

No Wait! I didn't even know X3 used different instruments to X1?! And didn't all 3 games of the 1st trilogy use the exact same sound engine anyway like the graphics?! The real transition was in the 2nd trilogy X4 - X6 which took advantage of the next gen hardware and CD Audio on the PS1 & Saturn. Anyway this sounds muffled and messed up compared to the actual SNES X3 tracks.

Pretty damn good! That last one, the cast, actually makes me wonder what a cover of that track might actually sound like with the super metroid 3 sound chip, using chorus for emphasis on parts of it.

Neon Tiger- meh, I think this one was really written to sound good with the X3 soundfont. Gravity Beetle- melody is a little quiet but otherwise pretty good! Blast Hornet- A definite improvement- one trend I’m noticing is that I think the basslines suffer. Bilzzard Buffalo- Way more atmospheric! Only negative is the ending- something just seems off.

These are all pretty good but that snare sample was just never meant to be low pitched it sounds like it's just getting cut off before the sample actually ends (it's less evident when it's played at a higher pitch)

It's pretty good, but in some of the themes the distortion guitar was too strong and overpowering, making it sound messy. It's very noticable in 'Vile' and 'Doppler Stage'. Also the percussion would need some adjustments. Still, overall it's sounds great.

This OST wasted a lot of potential, both by misusing great instruments and messing up the instrumentation of great tunes such as Blizzard Buffalo. Although it would be a dream to see it remade in its own style, the X1 style is already a huge step forth. So congratulations for your work !

okay i know people are gonna decapitate me for this but *personally* ... I didn't like this but here's why (also please don't kill me) 1. I have noticed that the heavy guitar's volume is so loud that I cannot here the intended melody of the song (the intro stage and tunnel rhino is a good example of that) 2. songs like blast hornet and gravity beetle have very poor percussion 3. this next reason is very subjective but in my eyes (or ears lol oh you're still looking at me funny still *gulp* ) the intense feeling of sigma 1st is gone in this version and neon tiger just made me bored even more than the original. 4. Songs like doppler reveal is kinda ruined because x3 had the right instruments to create that atmosphere (another subjective opinion) 5. generally i didn't think x3 or x1 could get blizzard buffalo right so good points for ps1 i guess. if you like this remix that's fine I can see why but for *me* i'm sticking to *X3* (hey that rhymes oh co'mon guys get your pitch forks away that was a good rhyme heh heh… oh i'm gonna die tonight aren't I)
