@@jeancarlo3608 But the soundtrack from the entire Mega Man franchise of this and the classic series killed every other video game company, Nintendo and Sega are two, for example. They just get full on murdered by a fighting game series for Cyborgs, killing robots controlled by. controlled by evil into songs like this that just come in and knock it out.
Honestly in my opinion, Megaman X5 had one of the greatest soundtracks among the franchise.. Every music was memorable, not like one of those games where only few soundtracks were memorable.
You know, the music as well as the name of the bosses in the original version, they are all so catchy and cool, based on Guns N Roses and all, and the game being quite fun to play, it makes this entry a jewel to remember. I am glad I played this game the most from all Megaman X games when I was a kid.
I differ. This game loved to recycle a lot from previous games. It's good, but in a good part it lacks identity of its own. Oh, and the Rose guy's stage is ewwwww. But this one and the 2nd Sigma track are outstanding in their own merit.
joão carlos he's actually the easiest to beat for me :P and that's just with the plain ol' x-buster and no upgrades. usually the first boss i go up against next to grizzly bear
Traidah Hsien He can teleport all the time to places you really dont want him to be and one of his attacks can corner you. Its beyond me how he is easier than Grizzly Slash or Dark Dizzy, but whatever.
joão carlos haha, he flashes for a second before reappearing. spam dash away then dash jump back to release a charge shot. in regards to the big beam you can either dash behind him or crouch. simple as that; rinse and repeat :P probably easy for me cause i've beat the game so many times, haha
you were as young as 5 when you played this game!? I imagine the game must have utterly destroyed you at that point since the X games are pretty challenging and this one is a slight step up from X4 and don't get me started with Sigma in this game his 1st form when you fight him in the last is a real pain. but his 2nd form is very easy just as long as don't get hit by the purple block things they take a ton of life away.. I usually justed as Zero as I play Zero a lot jump and slash away as fast as possible at his head.
LOLOL I didn’t even finish the game! I remember some of the normal levels I played were actually pretty okay, however, I let my older brother handle the boss fights 🤣🤣 I bought the megman X collection 2 on steam for nostalgia and so I can finish the game, the collection includes this game and holy shit I don’t remember it being this hard! I was able to finally beat the game 15 years later. Also fuck sigma for real that guy alone took me hours to beat, I can’t imagine fighting him when I was 5 😐
I don't know if it's just me but I always hear 2 different types of rock music in video games. There's the Mega Man X variety and the Sonic variety to me. This definitely sounds like a song that would be in sonic Adventure, it gives off that kind of vibe
Sky Deck and Speed Highway would be sort of an example of what your saying, both of these game series came out around the time of the late 90's and beginning of 2000's were video game music was phenomenal listening to
I know my brother is very sadistic when it comes to snails and slugs. He just straight up burns them to death with their fatal weakness... salt... At least we know what to use on Crystal Snail next we see him.
só tem outra tão louca quanto essa que a do x4 do Split Mushroom e a do x 6 Ground Scaravich são bem experimentais também, mas a do izzi glow tem um dos melhores argumentos pra se passear numa escala que eu ja vi e tem muito swing
Almost 30 years later and I still can't believe some music director at Capcom in the 90s was able to get the rights to such a beautiful song for this game. Unfortunately, Capcom hasn't had serious faith in Mega Man for a long time now, but hopefully that all changes one day.
If I go with normal Megaman X name pattern, the Mavericks should have been called: Shining Firefly Burning Rex Necro Bat or Dark Bat Spike Rose Tidal Whale (haha good pun) Volt Kraken Spiral Pegasus Crescent Grizzly That's some useless research but I love doing that xD
I know the proper would be English names in this game are Crescent Grizzly, Tidal Whale, Volt Kraken, Shining Firefly, Dark Necrobat, Spiral Pegasus, Burn Dinorex, and Spike Rose.
For some reason, this is the track out of the 8 that I always ignored from X5 but now I can't get it out of my head, along with Burn Dinorex track. Love going back go X series OSTs, especially X5's.
I remember redoing that level a lot and a lot and a lot of times, but i don't remember why. I think it was as part of my attempt to see the different outcomes of the Enigma Canon shot.
