And what was that Zero was hoping for? - He was hoping to fulfill the promise he made to a dear friend, a friend that believed that humans and reploids could coexist together and in harmony, and he swore to fight for that ideal, which he does, by protecting the humans that Ciel wanted to protect as well, including Neige and even going against Craft, making him understand that he will fight for what he believes and not out of fear Zero was the last piece of hope these center characters needed to achieve their goals, so X was right, he saw Zero capable as protecting humanity, the last hope, and he was right, even if the end was bittersweet, that hope and trust was not missplaced, something that Ciel even repeats at the end. Bittersweet, but this theme is the representation that Zero's mission is nearing its end, but he died a hero to be remembered, and that's why I love this theme so much. We've been with him since even before the Zero series, and the journey is finally closing. This theme is a prelude to that, and along with Falling Down, made me see Zero a true legend and hero, even if he never considered himself one. You made a wonderful rendition of this theme, thank you so much for this piece.

Not going to lie, when I first heard this song play in that game, I just... sort of knew this was the end for Zero. I had to pause the game and listen to the music as it was just, I dont know, it has a...finality to it. Up beat sorrow and resolute determination? It's hard to say. Great cover because you managed to capture that same feel.
