This level was metal as hell, and something I would have expected to see out of Contra, not Mega Man. Jumping between fighters to get inside a carrier and defuse the nuclear bomb it intends to drop on your headquarters was incredibly cool.
There are three things about this level that really grinds my gears... Passing through those bug like platforms without being hit, going through a secret path without being electrocuted, and last but not least... protecting Ciel. I don't... want... to go... to this... goddamn stage... again... ever.
Sendy Lie It's really really hard to get an S-Rank in this stage. Each shot Ciel gets makes you lose 2 points on mission, the bug like platforms costs retry points, and doing it in good time without being hit it's almost impossible! OMG xDDDDD, I just managed to barely get an A-Rank xP
I see people complaining about the part where you protect Ciel. Just get the Shield Boomerang and plop your butt down in front of her, slicing any Pantheon Hoppers that come too close with the Z-Saber. ...Granted those Jiang-Shi buggers are hard to hit when they jump...
Funny enough, protecting Ciel was the easiest part of the stage for me. I just used the shield boomerang to block the projectiles while throwing it at the enemies that don't shoot. Other than that, this stage was annoying to me.
@@awesomehazimex7410 Erase form Destroys any bullets if you use a weapon, Like if you hit any bullets with the Boomerang Shield it will remove the Bullet.
Yo, This level may have been filled with extreme amounts of Bullshit, ESPECIALLY that section with electrical beams where the battery placement can actually softlock you/force you to die if you don't have more than half your default health bar to tank the beams, but at least they made the theme for it an absolute banger so that you had something nice to listen to through all the inevitable deaths and retries.
THIS MUSIC AND STAGE.......it greatly proves why Zero has earned the name: "The Red Swordsman" and why he's THE MOST BADASS MAVERICK HUNTER IN BOTH THE MEGAMAN X SERIES AND THE MEGAMAN ZERO SERIES!!!!!!!! POINT BLANK!!!!!!!🗡️👍
I always tried to tie in the mission start prompt to the break just before the main beat of the music kicked in because I LOVED the timing of it all. Still an annoying as hell mission to get through now.
Is this the stage where you fight against two bosses at the same time? And the stage ends with them clashing against each other while you jump? This one was DOPE!
I love this tune! My favorite in the entire game. This is probably strange but I had an adrenaline rush during this stage. I actually shown some sign of skill and did pretty well for a casual player.
My 8 y.o brain thought this was the final stage of the game back then. And even if it was, i would be fine with it. The presentation of this stage was 🔥🔥🔥
What is about airship fleet that give them such rockin’ tunes with Megaman of course being the stand out. Power Bom and ZX’s Onslaught and Through Lightning are just full of hype.
Nah, the Shield Boomerang is hella easy to use IMO, not to mention really handy when dealing with the smaller enemy bullets (which is exactly why you have to master it if you want to not let Ciel get damaged in this stage) The Chain Rod tho... fuck that thing, I haven't been able to properly master it even after playing this game (along with the whole series) 4-5 times, especially in the Forest of Dysis/Notus where you _really_ need it to go through both stages properly, it's a major pain in the ass lol
Protip: If you're talking about when you have to protect Ciel, you MUST use Erase Form and slash any and all bullets and enemies that come near. Otherwise, you'll either always lose points for taking too much damage or you'll lose points for letting Ciel take damage. Usually both. (I usually get Erase Form from the Phoenix stage every time I play through).
For fuck sake this mission is very goddamn hard ass fuck. Instead of protecting Ciel,i let those phanteons jumping into Ciel & just relax listening the music
That's incredibly accurate, considering I would get points deducted for taking too long. Of all the stages, I can't believe you can't revisit this stage.
Since I had to go through the hell of protecting Ciel, the bug platforms and all that shit I then had to fight that pain in the ass Kuwagust with 4 units of health left....thats right...4. And Kuwagust was such a pain in the ass that I just said fuck it and kept restarting the mission til eventually I beat that prick.
Actually, I found the defensive mission harder, I never have gotten a perfect mission score here... The music, well, there's RU-vid for that, I figured.
I'd recommend more just using the shield boomerang, most of the shots will end up deflecting and killing most of the aerial enemies and maybe some hopper pantheons. I thought Erase Form was great until I saw a comment of Boomerang Shield being better.
Is he brothers with Boomer Kuwanger? And also the stage is similar to wind crowrang stage from X7. But I'd rather play this stage over the shittyass crowrang's stage! Goddamn! Whoever put the heart tank in that stage, neck yourself!
But why does this go so well with the fact that some times passed after the first four people and the Neo Arcadia trip I believe (haven’t played this in a while)
