Okay..so...given the context of the Megaman Zero universe..this theme is creepy as fuck. The submerged library is home to some of THE most important documentation in history, memories and the struggles of many are recorded here, and when you consider the Elf War that took place right before that, the submerged library is one of the creepiest places in the Mega Man series. I wish I could go there in real life, by myself and read everything. All of it.
This is also the place that made Elpizo ultimately go insane lol If you like the concept of the Sunken Library, I implore you to check out The Executioner's Way of Life and make it to the end of volume 5. I pissed myself
You get a sense of the apocalyptic destruction that has passed and the worst is still yet to come. kinda like a dangerous storm that has left everything destroyed in it's wake but only this is the calm before something much more worse and destructive.
This level is a piece of cake on the Switch release of the Zero/ZX Legacy Collection. Just take a picture of where the four doors are and you’re all good!
It would have been interesting if you could see Volteel Biblio's shadow swiming around once or twice in the foreground or background during the level. He'd cross the screen really fast or something (kind of like what they did for Nightmare in Metroid Fusion). I mean he's a weak boss, but the effet would have been so cool, and I feel like it would have gone well with the music to create the tense atmosphere that's so present in this level.
The second i realized that the Disk where randomly generated, i just took a paper and some pencils and drew the entire library room so i would recognize which door was which. And i feel... NO SHAME!! Other than that, i really liked his theme and boss fight.
These games need a true remake and desperately. Among the megaman games, the Zero series by far have more story than anything else. They can do so much with it.
Agitated Skeleton What about volcano, for endless fight III, Infiltration II, trail on powdery snow, and high speed lift? But I agree, this song is also one my favorites.
I dont know man, when i got to this stage and this music kicked in, it gave me the creeps like the stage is a labyrinth that i wont be able to get out.
+bezoticallyyours83 True that. Though I did love the ZX games too. They both have their edge, though I think for pure action-platformer glory the zero saga has it down.
I swear that the name of the music was "submerged history" then I went to search other video's and when I came back to this video it said "submerged memory". Is it the Mandela effect?
