In this video, I am crappie fishing the sunken bridge for mega slab staging crappie. I was surprised to find these staging crappie this early on the sunken bridge. I am crappie fishing with a jig in this video. Those Slab City Jigs and my 11' ACC Crappie Stix are a great combination to put mega slab crappie in the boat while vertical jigging for crappie or on the bank. Crappie fishing in February is the time to catch mega slab crappie, the females are full of eggs and they are aggressive and will usually bite anything they see! I’m glad someone had good luck with ACC, I started using them when they first came to Louisiana and I started off to with the Red and green series. I hear how great the customer service is now but I know before they replaced 1 rod then stopped. Every rod broke 1 eye above the mid section. I was told they couldn’t help with my red series rod after they stopped selling them not even a hey we will knock 10% off your next rod. I was told the rods were not designed to catch catfish which I didn’t purposely try to catch. 5 rods later I chose to leave and now use Jenko X-Series which is aeons better than my ACC. I’m glad ACC is doing better for newer customer service though but I guess it was my bad luck on them.

Yep I had a bad experience with ACC replacing a tip that broke the first time I used it. Didn’t offer a discount or anything. (Over a $21 dollar rod tip) I hear how good the customer service is. Not with my experience.. I’ve since been using hucklebee rods which I like. Little more expensive but better quality. These guys are pushing the ACC because they sponser them and get their rods free. If they had to buy them and had our experience. They would feel the way we do…

@@johngaudet5853 I disagree brother. ACC rods are high quality. I don’t just use these rods because I am sponsored etc etc. I genuinely love the rods. It’s definitely a preference. Plenty of good rods out there. I like the sensitivity, backbone and how I can hold ACC in my hand all day and never gets heavy. So if you prefer a different rod, no worries. But thanks for watching. The huckabee rods are good but just a Shakespeare blank with a 100$ markup that’s why I haven’t paid the price for one, I had the elite and it was good but i and faithful to my Jenko X series. IMO the Jenko X10 and X13 are aeons ahead of all rods and the Jenko double down is the GOAT on BFS for crappie.

How can you tell that from an edited video sir? How do you know when I put a new bait on? Lol I have caught up to 12-15 fish on one of these soft plastics.
