Mega Siphon 50 gallons per minute tube immersion

How to start a large siphon using 2" PVC tubing that can transfer 50-100 gallons per minute depending on height of water level. This can work with much larger diameter pipe or tubing but requires valves for tube filling.

🔴 What Is Islam? ⚠️ 🔴 Islam is not just another religion. 🔵 It is the same message preached by Moses, Jesus and Abraham. 🔴 Islam literally means ‘submission to God’ and it teaches us to have a direct relationship with God. 🔵 It reminds us that since God created us, no one should be worshipped except God alone. 🔴 It also teaches that God is nothing like a human being or like anything that we can imagine. 🌍 The concept of God is summarized in the Quran as: 📖 { “Say, He is God, the One. God, the Absolute. He does not give birth, nor was He born, and there is nothing like Him.”} (Quran 112:1-4)[4] 📚 🔴 Becoming a Muslim is not turning your back to Jesus. 🔵 Rather it’s going back to the original teachings of Jesus and obeying him.

I did something like this in earth science. We were messing around with the stream table (erosion demonstration) and sand had collected in the bottom resivoir, no one knew how to remove the water and sand without a pump. After thinking about it I suggested siphoning it out. No one wanted to suck the water up through the tube so I took the hose, filled it up at the sink and proceeded to siphon the sandy water out of the resivoir. My teacher was impressed.

yeah, we did that on a rainy summer with some giant's cauldrons or potholes filled to the rim with water on a little mountain with a 20m garden hose when we were about 10 years old at or summer resort. I hadn't heard of this before then and the difference in level of 20m was spectacular hahaha! Those were the days, summer adventures from June to August! :D

I've done something similar at work where we have a drink dispenser/juice machine. The trap in that doesn't drain. So, if it gets filled up with watered down juices, I submerge a part from an air coffee pot in water, carry it out to the machine with a pitcher, stick one end into the trap, then let it siphon out the excess liquid. Which makes it MUCH easier to carry it to the kitchen to empty out.. Instead of having to walk with it so slow and easily so you don't spill anything along the way.

Your method is very straight forward .Really like that massive amount of water being moved by just law laws of physics. They never lie.

So for anyone who missed the point: Fill tube, lower exit/output of tube below entrance/source, then let go The wider the tube the more flow. Lower the output end of the tube/hose even lower and raise the input/source end of the tube to let gravity help even more. For example, if you are trying to drain an above ground pool or even below ground, once all of the air is removed from the tube/hose you will get faster flow if the output end of the hose is 20ft lower in height from its input end than if the output end if only 5ft lower than the input.

No larvae in there. The tadpoles eat them and 5 of the containers using a Torricelli Vacuum trick the larvae to go up, seeking surface air. They only get glass (no air gap), keep trying then drown. Tadpoles swim in, eat algae and swim out. I have one vessel with the bottom opened and an air gap. All the larvae hang out there, develop into mosquitoes and get trapped in the air lock. After 3-5 days, the new mosquitoes die and become tadpole food. I will have a video for a stagnant water container that encourages mosquitoes to place their larvae in a cozy vase of water. When the larvae swim up the nice dark chamber to avoid direct sunlight, the swim right into 180˚ F water. This trap kills thousands of larvae in a season. Keeps them from reproducing in ditches where you have no control. Still have the fans going because swamps are all around us. On my FB page I posted a 5,000 mosquito kill in one night. I cleaned our area but a storm came and blew in thousands of more mosquitoes which are currently stuck to the back of our 4 large fans:-) I hate mosquitoes and kill over 100,000 a year. Pointless fight but it makes our 3 acres less miserable in the summer. Videos on all this this week. Here is the fan video that inspired many similar YT videos: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pU2kbghz85I.html Here is the FB post: facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10213585971192990&set=a.2169665650559.126268.1514264504&type=3&theater

could you put a tip on the end of the siphon to create laminar flow and shoot the water back into the pool creating an infinite loop? Then you could add a waterwheel and BOOM free energy for everyone..Dan saves the world.
@GREENPOWERSCIENCE
@GREENPOWERSCIENCE 7 лет назад
You would have something similar to a Heron's Fountain: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-92rSXLPupKw.html The energy required to send water up is borrowed by the flow of the siphon/displacement. Once the lower chamber is filled, the process stops. Only works if the lower vessel is sealed. A waterwheel one the siphon directly would be more efficient but you would need an unlimited source of water. The energy required to lift the water siphoned out back into the elevated tank will always be more than what you get out. A water flow to a lower tank/chamber and retired to stye elevated source alone running infinite would amazing, but, as far as I know, it cannot work. Rain does it but that uses renewable energy.

Do you know the limits of an automatic or bell siphon? Can the automatic siphon work with a tube that large?
@TON-vz3pe
@TON-vz3pe 3 года назад
Yes. A siphon is not just the ATM pressure pushing the water into the lower reservoir. It majorly uses a vacum and gravity to pull the water out. The more water in the tube, the more power it has to pull the upper reservoir water. It is all perfectly proportional.
