it's such a massive flex for Aespa that their sub vocalists are on lead/main level.

It's amazing how all of Soshi's vocal line is in D and D+ tiers with Taeyeon above in B. SNSD really have such a strong vocal line.

Jeongyeon is so underrated, she has such a mature singing voice.

Taeyeon is the best vocal ever. No one can touch her except Wendy. And almost all member of mamamoo are in C range 🔥🔥🔥

Liz having shallow support and not even proper cord connection/muscle engagement but having the same score as seulgi who does all of those things properly is funny to me

SM vocal lines are really something else

Seeing snsd having 5 members above 6,9 just makes me smile. But i still think Jessica and Seohyun ahould be a bit higher. But nonetheless great list

it's sad how the less popular groups don't have as much recognition and that the newer groups (yes I know that they need time to grow but the standard is just so low) are lacking in vocals. -liz (ive) doesn't seem like a standard vocalist to me, especially during their encores, it's really disappointing. -chaeyeon should be ranked higher than chareryeong? -oh my girl seunghee should be on this list uwu -and i don't think that jisoo(bp) and chayeon (izone), nayeon and rose should be ranked that closely -although stayc, itzy and (g)-idle may not have the best vocalists of their generation, they keep their mics on (which i really admire) people honestly need to stop prioritising visuals, popular groups and neglecting vocalists and thank you for this

I love how you encouraged us to voice our opinions because the creators of some vocal rankings just say that they ranking and observations are the ultimate truth and everyone disagreeing is just delusional.

Would you consider making a videos of some of the reasons for ranking? Like flaws you found in their technique? Asking because I find this all fascinating and wish I could hear distinctions in technique :))

Seulgi is definitely on the same level as winter and jihyo.. maybe even better than some. She’s an amazing lead vocalist and can be main in most other groups if she trained more (not to mention her being one of the best dancers too)

The description for the standard is too vague "support well in their range " it not exactly true cause it can be only within certain limited range usually only Up Bb4 ,B4 for the higher ones For the ranking there's some weird placements like Giselle below soo,joy and yena ,Liz is way too high ,putting her just next to seulgie who can handle G3-Bb4/B4 doesn't sounds logical ,chaehyun is also way too high. Even at yuju worst technique state days/era she was never that low ,I already addressed that with the channels that made that statement (mainly the Vietnamese stan channels rookie 101 ,Reggie Vu, watermelon....)ppl saw it and run with it but they all retracted that cause it was just not true Non of the standard to capable have ever showcased real resonance

Actually, when it comes to vocal technique, it can't be based on opinion but facts because it's related to technique. But I respect For your information, Hwasa not reaal good if compare with seohyun bcs she's just stop support in C5. Both have some resonance but, seohyun more higher in C#5. Taeyeon and wendy should have a score difference because Taeyeon is superior in the mid belt and consistent resonance in C#5/D5 and consistent support in D5/Eb5.

I agree with pretty much all of these, except Moonbyul and Seulgi definitely place a lot higher than they alr are... like Moonbyul is at least a D+ in my opinion, near the same tier as Hwasa (a little lower)

Just a question! Did you only rank them via their supported range? A lot of the reasonings in the video and title would imply that you only ranked them with their range and there are a lot of amazing singers with pretty bad range and a lot of bad singers with good range, just a question though i don't mesn any offense :)).

the reason seulgi is so high for a lead vocalist is because she was trained to be the main vocal of red velvet... until a certain someone came around. Th rest is history

i know for the undeveloped tier, it was hard to rank them correctly, but bahiyyih is better than xiaoting a little bit, even xiaoting's vocal range is wider than bahiyyih, bahiyyih stamina is better than xiaoting (as you said this tier by stamina). not because of post-covid-19 result, her voice crack and poor breath control. i would give xiaoting 2.6 bahiyyih 2.7 yeseo 2.7 and dayeon 2.9

I believe that if some Loona members were trained in SM (Haseul, Jinsoul. Kim Lip, Heejin and Yves) they could really improve their vocals even tho they are already good.

I would def like to correct a few things Yuju despite regressing is still a B- tier vocalist she still supports up to C#5 but lost her resonance but she’s def way above than a lot of vocalists you put above her. She has the same supported range as before but no resonance that’s it. Her rank is still like 9/10. Heejin, Sinb, Yerin, Mina, and Chaeyoung def in E/E+ tier and Chaewon should be moved down. All these vocalists have shown varying degrees of support even though it’s shallow. Also Yves isn’t that much better than Heejin yet you put her in a tier above her but really the two are the same level with Yves being better by just a bit. And HaSuel is definitely not on the same level as Nayeon or Rose’ bc Hasuel while having a great head voice, her mix is very thin and shallow and her support in that area is worse than Heejin’s and Yves’s. If you didn’t include her head voice and only her she would be below Mina and Chaeyoung tbh. Nayeon may get shallow around A4/Bb4 but she has way better grasp of support in her mix and lows overall than Hasuel. Also I have a question, are these numbers ratings out of 10?

I can't accept having Moonbyul that low... 2 years ago she didn't had the chance to express her vocal abilities that much but tier F... That's a bit much... Today with her solo album she showed she should be higher. or me she could be place in the tier D ou D+.

Hi!!! Wow it's a long video,that must've take a lot if effort and time 😅 Also there's some I might not agree; I don't think Haseulshould be that high...she barely support her mix. Liz shouldn't be in standard tier too, she's shallow. Chaehyun and Jihyo shouldn't be above Seulgi. Even after regression,Yuju still carry her support up to C5/C#5. Her grasp of support is much better thab the one in average/average to above average tier. Yeahh Hwasa and Wheein doesn't resonate anymore.....

This is not a critique of the ranking itself, as I'm sure you considered more than just one video/recordjng per person, but it would seem more objective if you showed them all performing under similar circumstances, I think. Like, I think the video of Shuhua for example showed her sitting at a table half bent over doing idk what and just lightly singing along to a bp-song, the vid of Yujin had her performing a taxing dance routine while singing live, and many videos clearly didn't feature raw live vocals - again, I'm sure you didn't just go off of one video per person, but the presentation makes it harder to understand the ranking.

lmao this is not it. How come eunha could be so far away below nayeon and jungyeon?? How can you analyze their support when nayeon and jungyeoan barely singing their high notes LIVE? Eunha did pretty cool with her high notes in encore stage without any backing track. She hit F5 in sunrise LIVE while nayeon often avoided her high notes in can't stop me encore stages. And then Yuju is below Jihyo? it's not right. Yuju's resonant is always there, and she got a very good agility that you will rarely see it in Jihyo. Yuju should be on a par with Solar. Then Solar is a mamamoo's main vocalist for a reason. Her support and resonant is better than wheein, it is very recognizeable. Wheein tends to sound more shallow and airy but she has a pretty good agility and style in singing. For Tiffany, after she ventured and toured the US and then do chicago musical in korea, her technique becomes more matured. She knows how to produce her voice well and her texture is richer now, aged like a fine wine, I think she should be higher than Sunny now. Sunny is rarely seen in the musical scene if it's not with SNSD, and her voice is not change a lot since snsd days. Yes, she has a really high voice and light that makes it seem so easy to hit high notes, but if you dive deeper to her live singing, she tends to sing flat/sharp or pitchy, esp. in the end of a note. That's why I think Tiffany should be higher than sunny. And for you who put 4th gen vocalist really high in the rank like chaeyeong from keppler, I think we need to see her more LIVE performances since nowadays music shows are all pre-recorded and or they're just lip-sync it.

Incorrect info..Tzuyu is above Sana.. She's into fairly relaxed tone and is close to support when observed in live vocals.. Moreover, she doesn't make her voice so unstable like Sana. This's actually misleading as Tzuyu's development is rapid and very soon she would enter the supporting category in TWICE.
