Keith Gunshot Oh man, I was lucky enough to see them play this combo in Atlanta in ‘08. Also, this is before they did band announcements after Dave’s last solo, killing the climax of the song. That annoys the ever-living shit out of me. It was intense and back then it was a surprise. RU-vid wasn’t what it is now, going to a show meant not having the ability to see prior show set lists or videos right away.

+Ned Bately - as someone who plays rhythm and lead work in a band and sings, realizing how much talent it takes to play rhythm parts that are THAT hardcore and still sing the way he does is just near inhuman. James Hetfield is one of the only other frontmen with that level of talent.

I would love to have seen Megadeth do Holy Wars with The Mechanix being played in the middle. That would have been a great surprise indeed. Both are amazing fast aggressive songs and it worked perfectly.
