One of my all time Megadeth's favorite song! It has that spirit that every metal head from this generation should know about the "old school" and how those moments, were the best and sadly, they will never come back again... but that's why we have bands like Megadeth and people like Dave Mustaine to bring up those memories to us to pass them through the history of Music and Metal

Personally, I think The System Has Failed is Megadeth's second best 21st century album. The best one is Endgame.

I think the System is number 1 and Endgame is at a comfy 2nd place. Edit: maybe Junior wasn't shown much in the video because he had at the time sued Dave and distanced from him.

Nacho Mustaine The World Needs a Hero was a decent album but I think these two are plain better. Just personal opinion. None of them is bad though.

I think it might be the other way around. Endgame after System. I might be a little bias towards that album however because it was the first album I listened to and I loved every second of it. It pulled me in to Megadeth with curiosity. It does have its flaws I think the bass and the drums are to buried. But the guitar work is awesome. And as radio friendly songs go. This album nailed it best. Its opening is also pure Mega vibes.

Well, they got back the producer that worked with them in Countdown to Extiction and Youthanasia, forgot his name, he is also in Evolver's dvd. But yeah, the producer said that Mustained showed him some of the new material and he actually said that it did sound like oldschool thrash

***** United Abominations was okay. Endgame had a few really awesome songs but also a whole lot of forgettable filler. Thirteen had a bunch of old b-sides and re-releases and not a single standout track that I can even recall. As for Super Collider...well, let's not go there. So that's why I say that TSHF was Megadeth's last great album. Almost all of the songs were outstanding.

Growing up at school and being in the "odd group" listening to metal while everyone else was listening to New Kids on the block was a great time and this song hits that spot perfectly.

The system has failed was supposed to be Mustaine's solo album. But the label said they wanted two more Megadeth albums. I think that has something to do with this album being different. It's very retrospective and unusual in parts. Other tracks are straight Megadeth like Blackmail the Universe, Kick the Chair etc... Maybe they were added later, to Mega it up a bit. It's one of my favorite albums from them. 🤟😁

:,) this was heartwarming this is one of the best songs ever. taken from one of the most overlooked album of megadeth... all of the album is full with genuine metal with heart that most people dont care enough about... it fetures in my opinion the best guitar player of all time Chris Poland. No one is as good as poland... i Dont care if you combine all those shrapnel shredders together. please dave go back to the old days of KIMB and PS and hire Chris again PPLEEEEASSSEEEEEE.
