During Pinochet’s dictatorship in the 80’s, this music was forbidden and we metalheads were chased by chilean police. We were beaten and tortured for the fact of listen to thrash metal music. Still, I remember we were so proud that the chilean anti-riot police appeared on this video, as if it somehow expressed the repression we suffered at that time by the Government. Thank you Dave for composing this timeless anthem and represent all oppressed countries worldwide.

Such a masterpiece in so many ways. Not just the song but the video too. Kids in Metallica shirts, kid in a Slayer shirt, Sex Pistols sticker on a guitar... How many people saw this and got into those other bands?

I love when music has a meaning to keeping us awake to the madness of the world. Alot of today's music is about highlighting themselves and their success while the world is kind of burning in the backround. The cameras are pointed away from the madness and towards celebrities in a narcissistic way that distracts the youth away from real issues. Instead these young powerful people are too focused on Tik Tok and trying to pose for people. Anyway, this is a masterpiece. And that's a fact!

Man when I was a kid and MTV let this video out EVERYBODY was just shell shocked and curious. This video was so powerful and ahead of its time. Truth be told, this was the very first legit speed metal song that was played on MTV. a lot of people rewrite history but I was there and I have a very good memory. Megadeth put thrash/speed metal on the map with this shit.
