All 6 hero themes in one video. NOTE: BN1 does have a hero theme it's AKA numberman's stage, enjoy. NOTE THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE NETWORK TRANSMISSION'S HERO THEME.

hey battle network fans! (including me) have you noticed how many things are becoming Wi-Fi accessible? and in this series many products can access the internet see the connection now? now what can you conclude from this? we're getting real netnavi's in the near future!
My favorites list: 3 - Best story, crazy amounts of customization and chips. Downside: grinding styles for Navicust. 6 - Fun gameplay, likeable characters, Cross System. 2 - Tied with 6. First game I ever played period, plus it has RIDICULOUS gamebreakers. Hubstyle or Gater, anyone? 5 - Liberation Missions were fun , Likeable npcs, but the most "fantasy" based storyline. 1 - Incredibly short, god-awful internet. Upside: can go to later areas early on. 4 - Regaltarded plot & crap tournaments.
I think the same thing about the 4,I mean, it's too complex different, roads, several chips, and if you go too far, there are no problems some and you get stuck, so, better game one of the two, since I red Sun, I couldn't finish it, but I can improve it with the Blue Moon maybe
I literally pulled out a map for BN1, and I swear to you it felt natural, like they expected you to look up what the Network Area looked like. Best 10.000 zenis ever found in one mysterious data.
Recently, in Team Protoman (the DS version), I went into the Meddy boss fight with 1 HP. I healed a bit with various methods during the fight, but still ended up getting knocked down to 1 HP again, yet I still won. One of my most clutch moments. All in all: undershirt gud
Undershirt is the equivalent of Second Chance from almost all Kingdom Hearts games, and maybe Once More, the moment where you are at your most vulnerable where a stray hit will kill you, 1HP only, but you still keep fighting to survive, and make a comeback, either you defeat the enemy there and then, or heal yourself, (and that might not be an option if you didn't bring items, and you're out of MP, so much like the custom gauge, you have to survive until it recharges for a chance to heal.) Or somehow by a miracle, Donald heals you. XD but I love games where things can get real clutch, and you're able to pull off a win, the satisfaction is too good.
@@kokaioh9942 the BN and SF series are connected though (albeit loosely), supposedly the next SF game that was ultimately canceled was going to introduce and have us team up with Lan's descendant and possibly set up a new series but it never got the chance. Maybe they'll decide to either remaster/revisit this and the other series later on, there's a lot more potential to be had for this series especially with how far we've come in terms of gaming prowess and capabilities. (I know that this is an old comment but I still felt like I needed to add this)
@@Tim7318-3 I'll always hope for Capcom to bring Megaman back, in whatever form. But, about my comment before, I was referring to Rockman Zero series. I already knew BN and StarForce were connected. These are all great games.
Damn, you got BN4'd hard You are meant to get 1 soul from each tournament in the first playthrough, 2 in the second playthrough (1 in the first tournament and 1 in the third) and the last soul in the third playthrough Roll soul is the most broken soul in the game and the game didn't feel like giving it to you
I agree. 1 and 2 had the best themes. They differ somewhat but the essence of each theme is the same and it works. I loved BN5’s theme but you talk about the best, its 1 and 2.
Damn im 22 now and just listening to these sings brings so many damn memories. I always always dreamt about NAVIS being real and always wishing they would become reality haha
Looking at where science stands now, and the increasing rate of progress on certain tech, your wish may become reality in mere decades... Who knows, Siri may become real life's Bass.
In all honesty, I LOVED 5. The liberation missions were fun and the story was great. It was interesting controlling not just Megaman, but being able to control Protoman? Or Colonel? Shadowman even! I'm sorry, but if you used proper strategies, Liberation missions were great. And just the story by itself was awesome.
I liked each game for it's own reason, so it's hard for me to pick one game that I like the most. I did like 5 because of the interesting game-play with the liberation missions and all, but one of my favorite things about it was the dbl souls you got and the chaos unisons. Freaking loved Colonel soul and Shadow soul with their abilities.
So, it just hit me that, for the first couple games in the series, they just remixed the same theme over and over again. Not that I'm complaining, but still.
Also all 6 games were made in under 4 years. I think battlenetwork could have stuck around for far longer if Capcom hadn't milked it dry as soon as it started to take off. A big reason why Pokémon has stuck around for so long is because there was only 1 main Pokémon game per game generation. I think if Capcom had done like Gamefreak and released BN games about every 3 to 5 years or so it would still be around today. Instead using side-games to milk the series and get their money. Many are annoyed by die-hard Nintendo fanboys but there is a reason those exist. Nintendo paces out it's main series. Giving people time to enjoy the game and giving a new one when they are growing bored with it. Also their main series are all good. I don't think a single main Mario, Zelda or even Pokémon has ever been bad. The worst they have ever been is 'meh' or a little too niche. Those die-hards might let Nintendo get away with occasional scummy things but they also give Nintendo and other companies an incentive to pace out their releases and make games consistently good. If people just moved on after 1 bad game or bad press then that means companies will just do what Capcom did with Battle-network. Milk it for all it's worth while it's hot and then just throw it in the dumpster.
Oh sweet baby Jesus, my childhood! I absolutely adored this series as a kid, it's so sad it just went puff, as pretty much everything Megaman did. I simply MUST replay it!
Most people say 3 was the best, but i found some of the scenarios to be downright annoying, especially the ones where you needed energy change. I personally enjoyed 5 the most, even if the folder building was a nightmare to me. The story made up for it, and chaos unison was awesome.
To me battle network 4 was the best out of the series cause of the megaman dark soul, the ds navis they all gave me a challenge especially on black earth because they use all your chips, dark chips, and program advances and to me that was awesome even though I got beaten by roll ds with piledriver or lifesword so many times, but still all and all it was a blast to play.
Exactly, the story is weird but the gameplay was perfect for this one. EXE 6 was really too easy and a lot of battlechips was overpowered.... EXE 5 Double Team DS is awesome too, you can add 2 netnavis more in your team (like searchman, shadowman) and can play with them! In exe 5 Dble Team DS, the soul are stronger but not overpowered, the chips too, so it's pretty good :) But anyways, the bossbattle theme of exe 4 is so awesome too... ;)
***** Overpower chips are the domain of 3 and 4. Mostly 4. Mother of AirHock spam, BN4 was a scary place. You think silver bullets and panel tricks are bad? Try a FOLDER of Air hocks: Silver bullets' sneaky break attacking older brother. At least in later games it was more limited, but Airhock/bullet/panelswiping was MEAN to face in PVP and made the reg gameplay trivial. 3 didn't have one broken thing like that, but rather a HUGE selection pool of slightly less broken things. Most of which were alphabetized for your folder building pleasure. People tend to remember it as the 11th chip glitch playground, but with the number of things you could do with an E or S code folder...Yeah the glitch wasn't important at ALL. It also had a nice little set of superpiercing techniques for those who hate the idea of survivors. Also, meta gel spam for those less inspired people who would rather just area lock first and think about things later. Arealocking was REAL back then, the back row wasn't safe, just the one panel you stood on. Lock and Deux Hero my friends.
Hellfire Syndrome Don't forget that 3 had the P and F code as well, which had Plantman,MetaGel2, Plasma3/Flashman,Varsword,HyperRatton. Too bad getting that 5th star is a pain in the ass. :[
Aquasition1 Oh yeah, 3 had OPTIONS out the ass. Almost every letter had a broken set for it. Still, very little beats a full on Air Hockey folder. 3 had options, while 4 had a soul crushing trump card.
2's awesome, 3 is about the same as 2, so yeah, 5 is.... Meh, and 6.... GOD 6. In short, 2,3 and 6 are amazing. Battle network keeps megaman's legacy for it's godly music.
Sean Park You, my good friend are horrible for not liking 4 ; the first time you get double soul. 5 I get because of liberation missions but still it had amazing double souls FIR GOD SAKES YOU GET TO BE A CYBER-NINJA IN THIS GAME; GO LOOK AT THE SHADOW SOUL MEME!!
NitroVortox Not only is the internet in BN1 confusing because of the unclear pathways, but it's also got too many layers overlapping each other. I get LOST in the Internet.
Darkus Relling I'll give it that it's an incredibly faithful experience in that regard hahaha. But yeah, the internet in that game was atrocious. HATED it.
Darkus Relling Playing through the first time it was fine for me...but after I saw like...the later ones where it had more design and uniqueness...that changed alot...with BN1 it was just...The Internet...but in other games it wasnt...it Was ACDC area...Yumland...Netopia...Sharo...Sci-Lab...They were all unique in those small ways...but you never didnt know where you were
The whole idea of Mbn 4-6 is reballance the game for the sake of the tournaments hosted by capcom, that is why a lot of chip combos disappaer and the y nerf a lot of chips. After all in bn3 you can rape all bosses with few effort, for example Plasma series, VarSword + Flashman, etc.
Really I like all of them except for 1. They all had something I liked. 2 - First ever MMBN! Yeah! And it has Shadowman in it! 3 - Virus Battles!! 4 - Introducing Full-Synchro! And also Duo and Junkman! And Django too! 5 - Control other Navis! Yay! Shadowman is now a good guy! 6 - Cybeasts are amazing!! Rawr!
The difference comes that well, in bn5 and bn6 exist E-reader cards (as well in 4) that give you abilities that are un able to obtain, such as First dream aura, Change your charge shot, etc. After seen the tournaments on japan (bn5, bn6, OSS) , they go for "defense" rather than attack, they abuse of barriers, anti damage, anti navi, etc. also Pausing the game is forbbiden in the tournaments so "The safe Charge chaos attack" is prevented. But PVE in bn5 can be raped with Chaos unision abuse.
Am i alil bit too late on reacting to our childhood game? 😆 man i missed this game and 3 was too perfect in my opinion the story line are the best and the final boss battle alpha was the most challenging of all final bosses i played all the bnw series and i only find the satisfaction of final boss to alpha and the ost was the best of well i hope they'll remake bnw soon bcz the gameplay overall was perfect as a stratigic game
bn6 made me holy shit sad i loved this game alot since i was a kid. they should make a whole new series starring lan's son and at the end you fight megaman.
Favorite is a toss up between 1, 5, and 6's. Least favorite has to be 4's. For some reason it just felt like a step down in the music style than another improvement.
I can't say it failed in terms of analyzing game-design. In fact, it's pretty good and did its job correctly, as well as managing to be a fun little experience on its own. Starforce has a few (debatable) things going for it I personally felt lacking in MMBN. But even so, while it may not have failed, I still agree with that order and think MMBN is superior. MMBN is just so god damn varied in its mechanics, MMBN's strongest point by far. But it doesn't mean SF failed, MMBN is just superior.
3=2>6>5>1>4 3 and 2 are the pinnacle of MMBN. They perfected the mistakes of 1 and new features to keep the gameplay fresh. 4 was awful, the entire game composed of doing fetch quests before a tournament just so you could have 2 minutes of netbattling. Not to mention you had to beat the game three times to experience all the content. The soul system was interesting though, but I still prefer the style change system of 3 and 2. You hit the nail on head with 5.
Huh... in the pic for BN2, HeatX (can't see any decorations - could be Guts or Team or Shield) Style's flamethrower is on the opposite arm from no-Style's buster.
3>5>6>2>1 I agree with most people and Say order is BN3 was the best installment. It's true that later games were made to rebalance the system for competitive play, but 4 kinda screwed up the in-game and story in order to make all the rebalances relevant. 5 however as it's successor did a much better Job, and in retrospect the much hated Liberation Missions had a cool aspect to other playable characters in the game and Double Team DS was a FANTASTIC port which sadly never happened for BN6.
+Oh shit he (Dark MegaMan EXE) it's not bad it just had something new (but quite tedious if you ask me and yes I'm talking about the liberation missions)
4 wasn't that bad i mean...it is my favorite in the series....pull your guns i dont care i love it and the fetch quests other than the guts man one are awesome like the kendoman one and the gameplay is just AWESOME....depends on the version, red sun was my version and it was my first megaman battle network game, and you guys have probably never fought bass Ω and the dark navis,a problem i have to say is that the process of GETTING sp chips is just...AUGH,the only way to get them is by the top lv3
@swordsaver yea bn3 and bn6 were my fav bn games since they had so much content in them and great afterstorys their was always somethig to do after you beat the game in all megaman battle netowkr games actually
@ShadowBlitzAlien lmao mine too XD those 2 games just really stood out from the rest but i still love them all the EXE series was just so epic to put into words
3-6-2-5-1-5DS-4 that's how I rank these, best to worst. Although it's my opinion, I loved the series regardless, a few games just had overall better soundtracks than the others.
it wasn't that bad in my opinion, it ranks #5 in my top 6. at least it didn't have a stupid as heck plot twist at the end. i forgive the future games for using it because it was established, but i think the first game is definately the worst, but i still have fun playing all of the games, now if only my wii worked so i could play network transmission
rogue498 Yeah, 1 was the very awkward beginning stages. I have a love/hate thing for 4, but I actually like it better than 5. 6 is great, and 2 and 3 are equal with each other at the top. My first game was 3, Blue version, which got me hooked :o
No, the other ones weren't easy at times either... just 2 had a ridiculous requirement of getting the Lv. 3 of Navis, so that you had to redesign your whose battle chips so that you get an S-rank (which most of the time required you not get one hit at all). It wasn't like the others were piss easy, mind you...
Yeah i think 3 was my favorite as well, followed by 2. The 1st one annoyed me more than the 4th just because of the crazy pathways i couldn't seem to navigate through, lol.
