At last, we've truly reached the end.
While not in the original 4.5, the 4.5 Translation team added Bass XX as a secret boss in this game. In order to fight him, you must first defeat Bass and Bass Ω in Chaos Area 2 and the Under Tournament respectively. Afterwards, register for the Under Tournament again. On the weekend of the tournament, go to the title screen that says "Press Start". Hold L + Left on that screen, then press Start.
While there is no audio confirmation, Bass Ω will be replaced by Bass XX for any Navis that have defeated Bass Ω previously. This effect lasts until the game is reset.

Now I wonder. Considering people managed to somehow absolutely gut this game to transform the core gameplay loop into the previous games, I wonder how remotely feasible it would be to implement custom Navi's into this?

No idea. It would be nice if someone could import the passive traits from MegaMan's souls onto the respective Navis, though. Stuff like MetalMan being able to charge breaking chips. Giving the bottom row of Navis their own passive traits would also be nice.

@@TheAzulmagia N1gp is a battlenetwork 6 tournament comunity that has a "adjusted" version of the game where you can play as the other navi's in a tournament.

It's not fully gutting the game. The MMBN4 battle system existed underneath the 'Real Operation' system, in the game's code, AFAIK. So really, it was just reverting the adjustments made to 4.5 as it's on BN4's engine. There's even still remnants of BN4 stuff such as Dark Chips being partially (And glitchily) implemented, that you can look up online. Just search MMBN 4.5 Dark Chips.

That is an excellent question! Granted, this boss isn't in vanilla 4.5. I should probably mention that in the description, now that I think about it.

@@TheAzulmagia still REALLY rough. You fight like sp basically with 3000 health. Original game has no full syncro and you can't just be easily positoning to spam airhockey. But it's a real feat just to play through this game in general in it'a original form 💧

The ai of 4.5 is nerfed a bit if you notice enemies are a lot slower compared to their usual speeds in battle network. It’s a lot more well rounded around the lack of control than it would appear. Ofc that’s hard to judge with the additions the recent hacks of 4.5 have provided

To do the Undernet Tournament, you have to beat the game with the top two rows. After that, you'll be able to sign up for it in Undernet 4 at the reception desk. To fight Bass XX, you will first need to defeat Bass Ω in the Under Tournament. Then, with that same Navi, sign up for the Under Tournament again. Once it's the weekend of the tournament, on the title screen, press L + Left + Start while the screen shows "Press Start". There is no confirmation chime for this one, but Bass XX will replace Bass Ω as the final opponent of the tournament. This effect lasts until you reset the game.
