-The moments in Operate Shooting Star (including Madd calling Mayl Lan’s “cute girlfriend” again)
I don't remember there being any moments in Network Transmission

My son Patch nagged me into finally getting him a PET. I was planning to wait until he was a little older, but my wife Mayl said he was ready for it, so I bought him one He named the NetNavi he installed, "MegaMan Junior". Its programming is taken from the best parts of my Navi, MegaMan and Mayl's Navi, Roll. Patch was ecstatic. He's determined to be "the greatest NetBattler in the world". I wonder what he'll grow up to be...? That's the greatest thing I have to look forward to as a father. "

In Megaman StarForce 2 if you plug a Megaman BattleNetwork game in and play the bonus mission, you can find parts of Lans Diary that seems to cover his later life and him as an adult. It's revealed he and Maylu actually got married and had a son together named Patch

You also learn that at the end of Battle Network 6. You forgot to mention that Mega Man Star Force 2 (when you have a Battle Network game in the GBA slot of the Nintendo DS) reveals that Patch's Navi is MegaMan Jr, a Navi Lan made with MegaMan and Roll's data combined, which means Lan and Mayl's Navis have their own son.

@@NetBattler Considering the 200 year Gap between Battle Network and Star Force........ I say no tho its maybe a possibility that they are still alive cuz there are theories that if you maintain the data integrity of a Navi that said Navi can live long, an Example of this is Colonel outlasting Baryl in the Anime Version of Battle Network (Tho Anime and Game Version doesn't really go hand in hand in terms of the Lore) so if Roll, Megaman and by extension Megaman Jr. all had their Data Maintained during the span of 200 years then yes Three of them are maybe still Alive.

Battle Network 6 hitted me the hardest when I was a kid in 8th grade middle school because my parents were going through a divorce and were in the process of moving out of the state. It was then suddenly I was playing a game where I can almost relate to. Of course, that was many decades ago; I've moved on and reconnected with the childhood friends I've left behind.

I loved these games and knew Lan and Mayl liked eachother but don't remember them laying it on this thick. It's adorable. I do remember them getting married at the end of 6 though. It made me happy but sad cause it was the end of the series.

In the Operation Shooting Star extra mission (that was fan translated) there is a lot of Mega x Roll moments, they made him to be way more notoriously in love with Roll in that mission

Nice compilation. Though I’m surprised you didn’t include Battle Chip Challenge (the Mayl & Roll story basically boils down to “Mayl takes netbattles more seriously to get close to Lan” or scope out the Japan-only Rockman EXE WS and two mobile games (which each have translations out there) for potential extra moments.

@ModelR 5th graders are a bit older than 10. Battle Network 1, 2 and 3 is in their 5th grade year, Battle Network 4, 5 and 6 is in their 6th grade year.

@@mohdadeeb1829 the gurl with drills for hair got disintegrated in the third game, and wasn't even the featured heroine/love interest that Subaru canonically had to travel TWO HUNDRED YEARS INTO THE PAST in order to save. With all those hints, and shipteased implications. The ship war is over. Luna lost, and her ship had sunk harder than her character development. 💀 P.S. Oh, and Misora has, and still is better than Luna. 😭

Meh. I prefer Subaru x Misora from RnR. The ship from that series felt more wholesome compared to the awkward on-and-off relationship dynamic between Netto and Meiru. Meiru actually feels like the mother hen, or responsible older sister in this relationship than a lover.

14:56 Finally, teritory I can relate to. EXE 1-3 irks me... Too bad netto is dense and meiru is strange... They fit well in a way. EXE had great gameplay, but the games only started getting bearable with 4 in terms of cringecontrol.

Everyone’s designs were altered a bit to fit more with the popular tie in anime that was running at the time. The sprites were given a more cartoony look to go alongside these changes.
