Hell yeah, more megaman content! I had this and it’s sequel growing up. (I remember the videos you did for Megaman II GB) This game tough as nails for a kid. Never did make it to the final boos. But I definitely want to go back and take another swing at it now. I look forward to revisiting all these stages with RushJet’s remixes!
Happy 30th Anniversary Gameboy! I heard this music in Mega Man 1 NES cover! The intro theme is a bit faster. And 1:24 is the NES version of the stage select theme! The NES Mega Man games are the best Games ever!
Are you planning on ever making hardware reviews again? I'm sure this type of archive stuff is interesting to the right people, and I have no doubt it's historically significant, and I have no doubt it takes significant work to put these out. it's just not my thing. You used to be the best retro accessory reviewer out there, and I really miss seeing those kinds of videos from you. I know it probably seems shitty and selfish whining like that in the comments to one of these videos, but I guess I just can't keep my mouth shut, I really don't mean it like that. Also, of course I understand that there may be mitigating factors making that type of content difficult or impossible to produce. If that's the case, sorry for bringing it up at all.
It's the GameBoy's 30th anniversary, so I wanted to do something GameBoy. I've been in film school the past few years and all my time has been nessesarily devoted to that. As for hardware reviews, new episodes of the controller chronicles and attack of the famiclones are in the pipeline, but they will be fewer in number than they once were simply because I've got less stuff in my collection to review. I do accept donations and I have been donated a few interesting things worthy of video discussion, so hopefully once I get back into the swing of things more people will be willing to donate and hardware reviews you crave will be more of a regular feature on my channel once again.
