For those stuck in Yellow Devil, the pause glitch has been patched, Is no longer viable. Still, even if you play normally, due the slowdown when you fire the eletric weapon you will lose some milliseconds. Those millisecs are crucial to get gold... But I found a solution, turn the turbo mode in the menu screen, this mode turn off the slowdown, giving the opportunity to get gold in the Yellow Devil, but the boss will get a bit faster. It will allow you to get the gold medal tho. Good Luck!
Thank you so much for recording this, I'm a veteran player in Mega Man X and ZX, in the collection I managed to be in the first 50 in the leaderboard...but this man, it's far more brutal, I only need a few more to get all gold thanks to you, major kudos and stay safe my dude.
I've gotten all the achievements on the Megaman Legacy Collection 1! I haven't gotten all gold metals, but I got enough for the x50 gold metals. Now my life is complete! YAHHHH
When I get all gold medals on the Mega Man Legacy Collections, I'm not erasing the data on it to start again, because some of these challenges can drive some people mad.
Well done! For me some of the challenges (about the third quarter of the list) get kind of boring and are just something you want to get through ASAP to get to the last ones, which are the BEST of them all imo (especially with no items)
In that last 60-minute challenge (all bosses, no items), the biggest pushovers were Top Man and Toad Man, but the biggest assholes were definitely Bright Man, Shadow Man, and King of the Assholes was definitely Elec Man. I couldn't beat him using this method...had to fight him straight up to pull it off.
I just wanna say, dude.. you're AMAZING at video games.

If you think these are hard, some of the challenges from the Nintendo 3DS/Switch amiibo-exclusive challenges with Wily's Machines being the worst (where you must defeat all 6 Wily Machines without special weapons).
it's just me, or the number 2 on the minutes of the timer moved a little to the right by a few frames at 12:52 to 12:55 (set the video speed to 0.25 to see it better). As there is no reason for him to cheat, since this is not a speedrun. This comment should not be taken as an accusation
Wow I didn't catch that. That sort of thing happened a lot back when I recorded with my Laptop (Before my actual PC). My laptop wasn't powerful enough at random moments and would stretch or distort the video. It was a nightmare to find these while editing to remove it. I'm so glad I don't have this issue anymore XD
Some of these Challenges when I first played were a pain in the neck. When I played them again on my 3DS it was easy since I still remembered what to do. The Amiibo Challenges on the 3DS I have only one left to Gold and just my luck it's the Wily Machines Challenge. Eventually I plan to complete it, but I may wait until the Legacy Collection Games come to the Nintendo Switch.
This doesn't work on 3ds version because there the bullets fire a lot slower on autofire but actually because BOSSES HAVE INVINCIBILITY FRAMES WHERE ARE THEY HERE Other than that, great job!
Are we gonna talk about the mark 2 yellow devil medal? That’s crazy to me. How does that even work? I’m still trying to get around 10 gold medals, including this one so this is crazy to me
Using i-frames to Auto-Fire inside his eye with Shadow blade deals 3 damage per frame. Auto-Fire fires weapons every frame and the game runs at 60fps lol
This Is Great But There Is ONE Thing That Got Me Off. Magnet Man. Appearently You Dont NEED Spark Shock. You Can Use Shadow Blade Which Beats Magnet Man In The Exact Same Amount Of Hits As Spark Shock. However I Don't Mind. But It Could Be Used To Improve Times. So Do Whatever You Want With That Info.
Hello, i just completed mega man 1 and going to complete more, i want to get all gols medals, i am not an expert on these games and its my first playthrough, are these like you have to have years of experience?
My experience with Megaman definitely helped I can say that for sure. I started Megaman (MM2GB) when I was 6, and I had 21 years of experience on Megaman overall at the time this video was made. Best advice from me; go at your own pace and enjoy the games first before you push yourself to get better. I've played all of these games multiple times cuz I love Megaman.
It's auto-fire. The game runs at 60 frames a second and auto-fire fires a shot every frame. Since you're shooting wily point-blank with Crash Bomb he goes down in one-fifth of a second. As for using just one C-Bomb, it's tricky. You have to fire right below his hit box so he get hit multiple times by the explosions going off.
I can imagine that. Except Mm3 I beat every games boss rush with buster only, but now I'm currently stuck beating shadow man.. Don't know if I can beat them under one hour in succession D:
