Mega Man X Eternal Wars Man, would be nice if the elves was like the Zero on SNK vs Capcom chaos, not just this actual circle. But without minimise the art concept you've already established. The game is nice as hell, congratulations
I feel like you ascend way too fast when jumping in water. Water physics generally never affected the speed of the jump in these games, just the height.
Awesome work: -everything looks and plays smoothly -no lag or chugging while playing -has widescreen! -new awesome special weapons for both players It sill has a long way to though, so be patient and keep up the good work. This will be an awesome game when this comes out.
I personally don't see the reason for a combo system especially since it'll just encourage the use of multi hitting weapons that deal little damage instead of going fast through a level but everything else looks absolutely amazing! This is the first time I've heard of this fan game and I'm blown away, very excited to stream this when it comes out
About the Combo System, we didn't finish it. That's why it has bad font and ineffective. We will try to complete that in next 2 or 3 video later. Thanks for your comment!
The PS1 X games are my favorites in terms of aesthetics and gameplay, so it makes me glad to see a game being developed in this style, it looks like you’ve been doing a lot of good work. Keep it up!
I've been following this project for about 4 years or so and I just happen to realize the fact that I didn't saw this video. In resume: my major concern is the weapons for X and the lack of damage stun for zero. About the weapons: I now that it has to be some balance and that's fine, but all the weapons, for me it's weak. The wind dash weapon, for example, needs to (in my opinion), kill smaller and medium size enemies in one hit to be useful and worth using; the green missiles is either weak or the enemies have way more HP than it should. The weapons colors are awesome but the funcionality of some of the weapons (like the ice drops that, in my opinion, are waaaay too situational) need some change and a damage increased. about Zero: I think you guys (from development) should take the MMX Corrupted example and make enemies stun as zero performs a combo, not leave the enemies continuing doing their patterns, something that, for me, is unffair. The way I see the enemies "giving 0 fucks" to Zero's attacks is just strange and unpolished. The game itself is outstanding. Just polish something there and there (like the water physics, for example) make the X weapons do more damage, give the enemies stun time to Zero perform a combo and it's done.
glad to see this project still alive, not gonna lie was hoping the cut lines that appear when zero hit someone with the saber were removed by now. also the combo font kinda boring so maybe a different font?? anyways these are just suggestions, i'm sure i'm not the only one thinking about that stuff.
How about mutiplayer in megaman x external war? 2 people play the same time or 4 people bye using LAN network. Also can you please add solo mode in this? I think is really cool idea
I think that the green tornado attack is cool, I just have a small request: could you change the sound effect? I think it sounds very robotic when it should sound more like a wind attack. Just My opinion
Oh thanks God this project alive and thank you for keeping the 32bit style Megaman X, as much as I love 16bit style Megaman X for nostalgia reason but I love Megaman X 32bit style more the detail of X and Zero in 32bit style look cooler than 16bit style and two of them look more proper upgrade version of megaman and protoman? (There still debate if Zero actually Protoman who get upgrade by Dr. Willy or not while in megaman wikia say Dr. Willy use Protoman as base when he create/design Zero) where at Megaman always look like child like character while X and Zero look like teen to young adult which look great coz Megaman X story more serious than Megaman where look more cartoonish with same main villain want take over world but always fail coz Megaman action.
This and Megaman X Corrupted are the best fangames ever! Keep up the good work! Edit: Since you put a Combo system there i think you should put the amount of Damage you deal when you hit a enemy, just like some RPGs. Also, you should fix the jumps when underwater, in other Megaman X games the water only increase the size of the jump while making everything underwater slow, that's my opinion though.
I feel like enemy placement could be better. Sometimes there are either too few or they don't have much advantage for their positioning. The stage layout itself looks very good, I must say.
I hope a lot of effort is put into the bosses as much as they will be put into the stages, I just would suggest not doing anything really extreme with the layout of the stages, it has to be fun and playable. Complete your hit combo design!! It looks kinda weird here maybe change the font and the size and make it personal to this game. The nova strike still needs work one of my biggest complaints was when I would play the X games I like to finish the bosses with the nova strike, I found it kind of lame when I would nova strike and X didn't finish the sequence and go right through the boss instead he would stop upon the last hit and that to me just didn't feel satisfying. Zero looks and feels amazing! I'm not sure if this game is more of a replication of the MegamanZero games or the Original X games if it's both I would add more aspects from one series and less of the other. The savepoint with the menu near the end feels a bit off idk unless this is taking more from the MegamanZero games "Mission Requests" and "Customize Teams" here make it looks as if it's a final fantasy or RRPG game instead of a Megaman game. You know, Megaman X games like to force the players to backtrack lol so I would personally remove "Customize Teams" at the very least. But so long as it's playable! Oh, and in general if you feel as if you can do better on the HUD or the UI then by all means. I'm excited to see your progress! I am keeping a stern watch on this game I hope to play through it on a gaming channel I have, I know you won't disappoint!! Keep up the good work or development.

Since the first Megaman X game, X always have at least 1 (Fourth Armor as default in X5) or 2 armors in each game release How about to add 2 armors for Zero? Primary weapon of Zero its his Z-Saber => So I have 2 armors for him are: SHOGUN for his Samurai slash moves name INNER FURY as GIGA Attack n' SHINOBI for ranged attack combine with his buster in left hand and GIGA Attack for SHINOBI armor I will named it is DART MAZE or DARK MAZE About our Axl (If you've added him in) will be GUNSLINGER (for his dual weild default weapon) n' SHARPSHOOTER (for ranged weapon he get after defeat bosses) SOUNDS GOOD, EH? ;)
If cyber elves are in the game, then I would suggest them to act more like the familiars in Symphony of the night, instead of replacing heart tanks, sub tanks and enhancements chips.
@@niclaswa5408 I do wish the part system, reploid system, and nightmare soul system returned from X6. That game had great ideas for advancing the MMX formula but it's potential was squandered for being rushed.
@@sodaftpm185 X6 pretty much improves every issue X5 has, besides that you can't use armors before every piece is collected. Well the part and rescue system returns in X7, which is one of the few things I like about that game. You can clearly see that the developers where trying in X6, but I guess they ran out of time. Luckily there exists improvement hacks for both X5 and X6 now. I haven't played them yet, but I've read the descriptions and is sounds really promising.
@@niclaswa5408 Yeah, the issue with X6 was that it was never meant to exist in the first place considering Inafune moved on to the Zero series meanwhile. At least you felt overpowered in MMX6 with Guard Shell, Zero, Blade Armor X , etc. MMX7 on the other hand is next to irredeemable. I don't get how people say X6 is the worst in the series. MMX8 was really good though, would've been my favorite had the first X game not been so damn good
It would be cool if you can make this game extra hard so it doesn't suffer from the common boring tropes of megaman x where enemies attack only in one direction. If not in regular hardmode, maybe a nightmare mode or something like that.,
The blink is too unnoticeable, make it more of a flash of white from a few frames, the dash seems really slow, perhaps amp it up a bit? And the water stage physics seems more like a gravity chamber level than an actual water stage, other than, everything else is good
Well the X dash seems kinda slow, the fount of the letters are not good to look at, I think the sound when you hit the enemy doesn't fit well and the combo thing pollutes the screen a lot. I hope it can help you :)
I hate 3D graphic for megaman series and always this old 2D style. I wonder whether is it possible to add red charge z-buster for Zero like in Megaman X one?.How do we know when it's released since the fb link above is dead.
