MegaMan X: Corrupted - Force Starfish Work in Progress #3 

MegaMan X: Corrupted is basically Half Life 3 but with constant updates to let us know it is alive.

i really like how the starfish that chases you, when it reaches you it throws you into the wall instead of just doing damage

The new feature of the boss using the star on his back adds an awesome element to the fight, this game is and has been awesome, I hope the day will come for us to play, I feel like this game has been growing alongside us, and we will get to meet it when is has "fully" matured, thanks in advance JKB games for making this game.

I like how the star on FSf's back doesn't return to him after yeeting you. After all, real life starfish can just regenerate their 'points' so long as the center doesn't die.

I love how these games have been - i am a straight up fan of X but Zero is just so clean when he slapping mavericks tho.

My God, I've never seen in my life such an intense boss fight in the X series, the dynamics are amazing, great work you're doing there, the wait is really worth it, it's good to see that there are still developers who care about quality rather than profiting from the cost of a bad game. Keep it up and you will go far. I try to be a game developer too, I hope someday to make good games like this.

The star attack inflicts a lot of damage, I like that

Stellar progress with this boss! The updates so close together, you're doing an amazing amount of work!

I enjoyed this fight as it was. The boss had a fun, albeit simple pattern, some unique attacks and behavior, and that was cool. Now? This is mind-blowing amazing. It's so interesting, creative and the execution is so polished. The way the star follows you and smashes you into the wall, the way the boss menacingly moves around, how I look and think "Hey, attack the boss, there's an opening" and then I see that the player prioritized the protecting Zero from the star instead of just being greedy because that would have led to a little damage to the boss and a lot of damage to the player... I mean, this is, as far as I'm concerned, perfect. And it's update #3. They might make it BETTER. My words can't describe how amazed I am.

Force Starfish - A Class (Hard Difficulty)

This is probably my favorite boss design in any megaman game. Pretty faithful to what a starfish can do and even flys around like a shooting star. 10/10 boss design.

JKB games i really liked the new attack using the starfish, but I noticed that the debris were been pulled of by the Boss more frequently compared to the second update and it removes the element of change of the battle

I wonder, since you are with zero underwater, what would happen if you do a Ryuenjin? Or even shoot fire with X. Because in megaman X, the flamethrower doesn't work underwater. Edit: wait, I think we already know. At the moment 0:17 you try a ryuenjin, but the steam is because the water put the fire out, right? Man this is awesome!

This is still WIP, right? Despite the A- / S-Class boss music? Good move to have the "star" attack independently from Force Starfish, but I almost expected a stronger Desperation Move from the Irregular himself, to cause some chaos in the arena where Zero fights him in. Maybe Force Mines from the star, the longer that it remains in battle? That might be added incentive to destroy it ASAP. I mean, that if those come out, expect shockwaves and a fair amount of damage, either upon contact or when they explode on their own.

Mid difficulty boss Id say for now Detachable starfish and Crash attack is pretty easy to dodge but its your fault to actually get caught in it because youre not paying attentiont to it.

I really like the star separation attack. It gives him a really memorable fight, like Storm Eagle's airship boss room.

I don't know why I like this boss so much. But he looks like he'd be a lot of fun to fight. Maybe it's just because I like the look, especially his crossed arms when he's flying around after he releases his shell. It's like a mix of Gravity Beetle and Shield Sheldon (That shellfish guy from X6, I think that was his name), which is awesome.

Amazing update JKB Games! This boss fight seems like less dangerous than Crystal Rafflar IMO but that chasing starfish was SHOCKING. Cool design. I hope you will finish this game sooner than expected.

that's so cool!! i wish he had a ricochet type attack though something that makes for a challenging dodging mini game. I feel like that type of attack would fit the aesthetic. still awesome work!! I could only hope to be at this level of game programing. (one day maybe)

This kinda proves that we need another Megaman X game to come out. Think about the possibilities with our current technology games like this can make a comeback. I like the boss using the star on it's back to bash Zero into the wall and that Zero can combo into attacks quite similar to canceling.
