Thats so sad. Development without a clear goal leads to this. 16 years in development and counting. I hope that, at least, the developers are having a good time while working on this, because i dont think we will ever be able to experience playing this game.
When it releases you'll be able to play on any device with a modern, HTML5 compatible browser. This includes Android phones, Steam Decks, and of course PCs.
I know its been over 4 years... But i jut came up with an idea (that i doubt it would be possible now) when he creates the icicles above and starts walking heavily, it eould be cool if hehad some sort of frost armor, that you would have to either melt (with the weakness) or break out via multiple shots to actually damage him
@@javiercampillay6045 Exactly. A portion of X8 Demake's assets are from or modified from X1-3 assets. And the scope of X8 was narrowed too (reduced playable characters, intermissions removed, ect).
@@AmatsuDarkfyre Oooooor you know... Reduce the scope, and keep the new ideas for future "update" The game prior to all of those fancy new ideas was already fantastic. adding new ideas and stuffs are fine, the problem is that JKB keep adding new ideas, changing stuffs, continuously increasing the game scope that the game hasn't even get near completion for like 16 Years... The fact we got GTA 6 BEFORE MMXC should at least make you feel something, especially if you already waiting since 2008 I get it's a passion project so we are in no right to complain, but the fact he refuse to release a Demo, yet still actively "teasing" the Game since the last decade without at least giving an estimate release date, feels like an insult to the people that patiently waiting. It'd be better if JKB just remain silent, and ONLY when the game is close into completion should he start doing streams considering he refuse to elaborate in details neither have the intention to release a Demo.
@@zadokutah2315 GTA6 is not out yet nor has a release date outside of a vague 'Fall 2025'. He's also outlined his reasons in the past for not wanting to release a demo. It's also his project to decide on what gets added, and also what needs further work. Maybe we'd see it by now if certain levels turned out good on the first design pass, but they didn't and needed reworking to be actually good. I will note that in the last 3-4 years there has not been any significant feature creep, just slow but steady refinement and work on existing ideas. All dev team members have lives and jobs as well and cannot work full time on this. Also I'm not sure where you get the idea that the game isn't near completion. There's a tracker for the levels and while that doesn't spell the full story out, it's a reasonable estimation of how far things are along.
I'm really looking forward to playing this game, I've been following its production since I can remember because people who are bad at me can't contain themselves.
@@alvaropandero3560 Yes. Keep in mind the game has had two major restarts (switching from X1-3 assets to originally made ones and the conversation to Haxe after Flash was killed off) which slowed down development dramatically for a time.
@@alvaropandero3560 JKB's often indicated why he doesn't want to make a demo or beta release. He views both as a means to build interest which is not needed in this instance, and it would take away dev time from the full release.
that weapons factory stage is THE most dangerous yet fun place to work in xD "Elevators? We dont have any... what you do is ride that missile to the floor you need to go to and just jump before impact!" Also, THIS is next level fan game! Amazing! Good job on this!
Honestly this is giving 90s anime vibes for many reasons. Back then you had no idea when games or shows would release. All you had was a commercial or magazine to explain. Its happening all over again now and its a long lost treasured feeling I must say. We have no idea when its dropping but it is keeping us on the edge of our seats in anticipation. This game is giving such heart its off the charts. What an absolutely phenomenal expression of their love for this series. The intro alone is undoubtedly the best intro Ive ever seen to ANY game so far no exaggeration. The music is absolutely perfect and X is just looking the best he has ever been. This game is a perfect mix of the greatest essence of X3 and X4 combined on top of that jam packed with zero and all armors for x. I must say they really knew what they were doing. Im saying all this to shout out people carrying us with this game you guys are the real S Rank Hunters. Thank you for making this masterpiece!
MMX8 Demake is an amazing piece of work. MMXC is on a different level....this is on God-tier level of Megaman X....everything from the custom animations, dialog photo ballons, 16-bit music, RPG elements, is all highly customized! Be patient! We have faith JKB Games!
Freaking amazing. Ive seen some Megaman games been made by people but this one takes the cake. Hats off to you all whoever made this masterpiece. Bravo!! 🎉❤
There is no evidence that it won't come out at this time. A lengthy development means nothing, people said the same things about basically every fan game that takes longer then a couple years to come out.
@@AmatsuDarkfyreit’s been like 15 years and they keep making tiny revisions on things have already been done. At this rate the game could take several more years to complete
@@Somethingpointless69 Perhaps, but it does feel like the last few years have had more progression made then the several years before that. I think we could very well see it in 2025 or 2026 at worst.
And some random dude made an amazing fan game (X8 Demake) alone and in an short span of time😂. You guys should collab with that guy to finish this game faster
That's not how things work. Both games use different engines (MMXC uses Haxe, and Demake uses Godot), and the coding languages are not compatible with each other. Demake's dev also narrowed the scope of X8 (only has X as a playable character) and reused official assets to get it done faster. Those factors alone are incompatible with MMXC's development since almost all of the assets are originally made.
@@AmatsuDarkfyre right, 17 years of development and no end in sight, while X8 demake was completed in less than 5. Forgive me for not believing every single word you said. At this point, I believe it as a multi-storied elaborate prank on the fandom. I’ll give it a chance if they at least release a demo / reduced alpha/beta version that a fan can test out.
@@GiratinaGX I don't think it's completely reasonable to compare MMXC to X8 Demake, given the latter was able to take multiple shortcuts to speed up the dev time, such as using X1-3 assets, reusing X8's music and sound effects straight up, as well as its general design template while also reducing its scope (only X is playable, no intermission levels, ect). Corrupted on the other hand is using almost entirely made from scratch assets (a few sound effects are X3 ripped still). That takes time for people to make. We've also seen evidence of development though streams that happened after this video came out. If this was all a massive prank...it would require the full cooperation of nearly a dozen other people as well which feels unlikely. I do get the frustration though, this is an almost excessive amount of development time, but the simple truth is that those on the dev team have jobs and other obligations to worry about over a fan game.
