@Celdrach You have to do quick taps at the jump button in order to economize enough jet power on the Ride Armor. Do not keep the jump button pressed like you normally do.

+MotokoZeratul Sure! :D First you need the fire weapon from Flame Stag and the buster upgrade from the Light Capsule in Wheel Gator. I will assume you know how to get both. Now, in Crystal Snail, you don't even need the ride armor at all. What you need to do is fully charge your flame weapon, release it to start a flame dash at just the right distance from the boss area, then quickly dash under the crystal and dash jump over the wall to the right of the boss. If you did it correctly, the boss won't spawn correctly and you can just continue on past the mini boss. Note: I speedrun Mega Man X2, so I know a lot of advanced tricks like neon jumps and stuff like that. I hope my instructions helped you!
