Exactly, megaman x6 was lame i played it but it was really boring,and the new sword for zero was simple, another thing iss the x6's bosses are easy to defeat
Honestly, I think X4-6 are the best X games. X1-3 are amazing as well, but X4-6 just feel really modern and play great to me, and the bosses are great as well. X7-8 look horrible to me since they're 3D, but I haven't actually played them yet, so whatever. I really don't get the hate for X6.

I've been a fan since i was a kid, and i thank my cousin for showing me the hero since i was 7, now that I'm 21.😂 Yeah, the falcon armor has a bird beak and i didn't know about it until i saw the armor in the Megaman wiki, i was like; Holy shit all of these years playing x5 and i know noticed that the falcon has a beak.😱

Specter X Cool, i play x5 on my x collection for the GameCube. I can't afford the newer consoles. But it's still the same thing, just without x7 and x8.
This game was for me the best one of the series. I was so hooked with this game. Also the fight with X versus Zero is so legendary that I feel like playing this again
Here's the problem with this video: Some reploids give you heart tanks for saving them at the end of the stage. And those weren't included. Please note that I'm not blaming you or anything, but I am blaming the game developers for this oversight for what I am about to say. Reason I need to know these is so that I can split them evenly between X and Zero. However, back in the MegaMan X collection on the PS2, and on X5's original release in the PS1, there were only 15 heart tanks total. 8 could be found but for some reason, there was always one rescued hunter who would never give you the 16th heart. As a result, instead of dividing the hearts 8 by 8 for each character, I had to split them 8 by 7 which meant between X and Zero, only one can have 8 hearts while the other will be one heart short. I looked for these videos so that I could be wrong and finally find out what I was doing wrong back then. X Legacy collection 1&2 are out, and I've only found out that I STILL can't split the hearts evenly. (Just so others know, MegaMan X6 suffers from the same problem).
I am pretty sure you are mistaking X6 and X5. X6 is the one with rescuable reploids that give you hearts. X5, there is 8 hearts on the levels, and then there is 8 hearts that come with the 8 Maverick bosses, when you select "Weapons + Life" if the boss is level 4, or "Weapons + Life+" if the boss is level 8. Adding an example, you defeat a boss, like Grizzly Slash, on the first hour after the intro stage, he will have such a low level (the number below his health) that you will only get a weapon, without the heart tank. Investigate how the maverick levels works, but being brief, it is affected by the rank of the character, the amount of bosses you have defeated, and the time before Eurasia crashes into the earth.
I've always thought they should have made a metroidvania style mega man game. I think it would have suited the power up system to have an open map to explore.

ah i remember i used to purposely waste days on bosses on the right side (parts for the shuttle) and at a certain point go get the enigma (while getting parts to upgrade my x & zero!! :D) then beat the rest of the bosses (except skiver to keep the hyper slash :D) and then do the zero stages... ah the memories
Im still weirded out by the fact that... HOW DOES LIGHT KNOW WHAT X IS DOING IF HE'S DEAD?! Can someone pls explain to me? Did he give his soul the capsule? Or did he make an AI of himself with all of his memories before he died?
Serious Answer, Dr.Light made an a.i in his image to watch over X in his stead. Some of his armors are implied to have been built or finished by the Light a.i and it's Robot helpers more recently by the time X5 and X6 happen. This plot point gets dropped by X7 though and he's back to being a recording.
@@KyanbuXM Well, he was an AI in X4 too. He said the word 'Reploid' which wasn't a term until X series. He also says something along the lines of ' Peacekeepers are fighting each other ' that implies on both Hunters and Repliforce.
@@johnmccullough8856 Yeah I found the X6 bro and it's kinda more difficult because I always play on the extreme level for a good challenge. Man these are the only games that I find myself sit down and play for hours on the vita. Wish I could find some cheats for it to walk on spikea

I really hatted how in both X5 & 6 you needed to find all the parts of said armor in order to use it,I mean yeah maybe its because you get two instead just one new armor but still,I wish they worked around it kinda like how they did in X 8,speak of that I'm really glad the dropped that whole "collect all the parts to use this armor"thing from X7 and onward.
I have a question: I am playing this for the first time, getting the armor parts. But all I get is the data to be analyzed. How do I get it analyzed so I can use the armor parts?

Dang I forgot how hard those tanks were to get. Can you even get most of the heart tanks with zero? usually like to do 3 runs for each ending and a sperate run with zero to max him out since he is fun to use
Sky ross Sorry for taking so long to respond. Full health will be achieved after collecting all the heart tanks, but I believe that they are not shared between MegaMan X and Zero. As for the armor question Ultimate Armor is the best for X and Black Zero is the best variant of Zero. They get upgraded defenses and new abilities not acquired through other armors in the game.
it's amazing all the stuff you had to do to find everything.... had to get the falcon armor to get the gaea armor, needed gaea to get the heart tanks... at least you can get the weapon, energy, and life tanks w/o the special armors....
Yosef Yonin while they aren't needed (especially if you rarely get it to begin with), they can help. collecting all heart tanks along with the ones for boss kills really gives a lot of health but personally, I loved the max weapon energy increases more so you have a better cushion when using them (like using The Skiver's weapon to pass the instant kill lasers)

Here's the thing.... You can actually give it to x and still get a heart item At the results screen choose life and power,each time is worth half a heart tank...just keep in mind if you do that you might miss out on special parts,search online on how to get those
Is it just me, or did x5 really blow... It might be because I'm playing the PS3 version ( you can buy it on the store ) but the controls are just so loose, it's basically a gamble whether to not you'll connect with those rope hooks, is it any different on the ps2? Or am I just terrible at timing stuff? Thanks for any info
there are 4 map that i cant collect the heart tanks by zero because of the obstacles and spikes: chase the truck, electric trap, fortress lab infiltration, into the jungle. Can i collect those heart tanks by zero instead of gaea armor?
Khương Duy Trần You can collect Heart Tanks from these 6 stages using Zero: Duff McWhalen Grizzly Slash Burn Mattrex Izzy Glow The Skiever & Dark Dizzy. But Squid Adler and Axl the Rose are really imposible, because you need X for those, unless you mod Nightmare Zero in a PSX PC Emulator; you won't be able to collect the remaning 2 Hearts.
i dont like the falcon head way and the forth armor head way because you need to be really perfect, its hell without the split mushroom ability (from x4)
I'm confused on the start screen armors u can get. not too long ago when I started up the x5 game and was able to choose x i was talking to my friend and flicking the stick around without paying attention. When i did select x i got the cool looking red Fourth Armor I have never seen before. I been looking around to see if anyone else found this too to i can do it again.
My god i had forgotten how ugly and useless was the Gaea armor, at least in the intro movie they made it look somewhat cool; good thing one can keep the Fourth armor I guess, unless one chooses to sacrifice it against that Sigma head at the start of the game by picking Zero.
Defence and offense increases as far as I can remember, but what 100% I'm sure about is that instead of having 4 possible chip parts to equip, he'll have 3 specific parts hard wired into him : Virus buster Shock buffer Forgot the last one (check in wiki) In addition to those, you can equip 4 chip parts as usual. Note that two identical chips WILL NOT STACK, so for example equipping your own shock buffer on black zero won't do anything. In summary, if you equip 4 chip parts that are different from the hard-wired 3 chip parts, black zero can technically utilize 7 chip parts which is crazy and makes all of the game a breeze.
so can someone answer me this : I have been playing it and I saw that you (the creator of the video) showed how to get alll the items, like the 8 heart tanks, but somehow I have 11 heart tanks.How is that possible ?
I wonder why we can't just equip armor parts as soon as we get them. I know Dr. Light explains that but I think that's a very bad decision by Capcom. Getting the upgrades right there was very rewarding. I guess they were just lazy.
Millton Manakeeper That's part of the reason. It's mainly because they didn't think the whole "X has 4 Armors now" thing over all too well. So to avoid drawing more sprites for Partially armored versions of the 2 new ones (Falcon and Gaea). They just lock you out of using either of those two until you have the complete set for that armor. Fortunately they are more out in the open this time to make up for it. Along with you getting the option to start with The Fourth Armor from the get go. Still a pain to get though.
I've played both and I think that dark souls is overall a harder experience. But X6 is ridiculously harder imo. Thing is, it's hard to compare because x5 and x6 are hard when playing as the developers intended, but if you use the zero dash+slash spam move you literally break most of the bosses, and both games become pretty much a breeze for the most part. In contrast, to break dark souls for it to become as "broken" as X5 and X6, you'll need to get Dark Bead magic spell and level up your character, which is far more work than the initially broken zero mechanics in X5&6. I'd say that when playing as intended, the hardest games I've personally played are in the order : 1.X6 2. Dark souls 3. Devil may cry 3 DMD difficulty
