There are three voice actors in X6 who passed away: The late Hirotaka Suzuoki, the late Takeshi Aono, and the late Keiji Fujiwara. R.I.P for both of three.
Quick reference of their roles in MMX6 Hirotaka Suzuoki - Signas, Shield Sheldon Takeshi Aono - Isoc, Ground Scaravich Keiji Fujiwara - Gate R.I.P to these legends, MMX6 was the first MM i beat and overall my favorite.
@@aubreydotvtf I don't think it works. Even though various region roms are in the game, the audio assets are shared. For instance how no matter which region you pick, the opening stage will always be the JP version of the song.
LYRICS: (VERSE I) It seems when you’re going forward , the straightforward light of glory is not your goal. It’s the beginning of the next journey. Abandon everything , if you have the courage, you can go even further, anywhere. (CHORUS I) In that place close to the starry sky , I think there’s something on the opposite side of a locked door. If you want to see for sure , even if it seems you have no propeller or feathers, it takes is a small idea and certainly you can soar Fly high. (VERSE II) In the endless sky , the wind is gentle even in this place. There is no dissatisfaction, however. In parting with compensation , you’ve seized something. If a bigger self is what you want to find. (CHROUS II) If you lose your way at a three-forked road and don’t know left from right, Even if you feel a little uneasy. Because in that same heart , there is also hope, you can stand tall against walls and tricks alike. If you have an idea , you can overcome it Fly high. (FINAL VERSE) A donkey wishes for safety, a monkey chooses the risk It’s boring, it’s fulfilling. I see dreams, every day and rise above everything I.D.E.A (FINAL CHORUS) In that place close to the starry sky , I think there’s something on the opposite side of a locked door. This song always gets me emotional, not only is it catchy and uplifting, it's essentially the credits for the whole series to me because I always replay the X games in order and stop at X6. There were lots of ups and downs in the way, but it all ends in this high note of a song :D
@@ghhn4505 X6 is not that bad of a game, i honestly find it better than X5, atleast i find it more fun to replay (than X5) after beating it, it also has alright story and gate is a fairly good character. X7 is awful and completely non canon (seriously, this is probably the worst megaman game ever made) and X8 is kind of x6 tier, isnt too bad for a game but its also totally not cannon and has the worst stage design of the entire series (for those who dont know, the canon ending for the x series is x6/zero ending, as mmzero was made before x7 was made).
X6 was a good megaman, good mechanics, good soundtrack, it just had a bad level design, if they rely only on that last to say that it is bad it is that they did not appreciate it enough.
@@Ghozt616 people keep throwing around "bad level design", but that never came across to me my whole life of playing it. X5 at least as "bad" and the MM Zero series was much worse except those get a pass.
50% of the comment section: "Am I the only one not here from sonic shorts 8" The other 50% here from sonic shorts 8 0% wow this is a great song, the game probably is too :D Like seriously, nobody cares where you came from. We all came to just enjoy a song.
I had to come here after beating X6 on the Legacy Collection now that they've taken out the Japanese image songs from the PS1 X titles. It just doesn't feel quite like I've reached the end without this theme to close things out. That's the dangers of using licensed music, I suppose. The rights'll eventually run out and renewing them for a simple retro game collection over focusing that financial backing on new material in the works might not exactly be an effective investment.
Hayami Sakurai i'm agree with you.. X6 is not for amateur. You must have tactic for across terrain with full trap. And you are must very fast for get all armors, all item, all prisoners and highest rank
Probably better that they don't have X6 in any Maverick Wars anime. I mean, some kind of epilogue movie to accompany the end of X5 would be great, but the story would have to be rewritten. Among other things, Zero needs to stay "dead" and Sigma needs to be replaced with, say, a nightmare engine Gate created that manifests in the form of Zero. Have it be X really having to come to terms not just with Zero's "death", but that Zero wouldn't want to be "resurrected" if the option ever presented itself.
@@Freak532 What is better than a fun, lighthearted Jpop song to soothe you after your robotic girlfriend just died and the future looks more bleak than ever?
For an "accidental" installment in the X series X6 turned out to be a surprisingly good game, quite challenging. Great ending theme. This has a distinctly, nostalgically Japanese feel to it that reminds me of wandering the streets of Tokyo. Ahh, good times.
Actually, I don't hate X6. I hated it when I did no damage, but more casually 100 percenting the game is a fun game that tests your reflexes and skills
@@HatZ.PetoriaZero Backtracking is bad, but not as bad as x5, and if you count rescued reploids for 100% completion then thats a whole new layer of pain
I get why people hate it, but I always appreciate seeing fellow X6 enjoyers, I think it goes to show how even games that are considered bad can have a lot of value to offer and good memories to share with others
This game just needed 6 more months of development to fix it's issues, starting from it's level design and the awful nightmare system. Story, soundtrack are great
I felt a real accomplishment when I first beat this game, considering how hard it is. This song is truly rewarding and thus deserves to be this game's ending theme:)
I first heard this in sonic shorts 8, and only after learning about mega man x, playing 2 of the games and listening to several reviews of this game.... i found this. Wow, i missed out.
The one thing Capcom did right with this game was neglecting to localize the opening and ending themes. As a result, we get some really nice songs in a real mess of a game.
Sonic Shorts Volume 8 (Ipod scene) Sonic: (Amy Rose, Merna the Merhog, Fiona Fox, and Sally Acorn) (music change to Dr. Eggman's dancing theme music) Sonic: (falls off the tree)
Love this song.... and it's only until last year I became a OFFICIAL Megaman Classic and X fan..... never had the opportunity to get into them and see them for what they were...... TREASURES.... Archie Comics cleared that up. A quarantine discovery that I DON'T regret at all! They're so human that you see them as NOT stereotypical robots but people in EVERY sense of the word....
It took you that long to become a mega man fan?(lmao like I ever got the chance to play them at release date or something nope didn't) but dang Lol 2020 eh? Way later than I did. the games are amazing honestly I am shocked so many people hadn't gotten to play these games until like the 2020's becaususe Mega Man was/is Capcom's biggest charcter heck you can even consider Mega Man aka the blue bomber as something of a game mascot for capcom or even icon of gaming in general. mega Man is like Mario and Sonic everyone knows him so for me it is a surprise when I see folks have not played a single game or even know of it. Mega Man is one of them games ya just gotta know lmao.
I first heard this from sonic shorts 8 but later I learned from a mega man x6 LP that this song played during the credits of the Japanese version. What I’m trying to say is that an animated short led me to this masterpiece of a song.
This is really bring my childhood memories back. Back then, life is so pricelessly simple and fun despite being in tough times. And playing psx games for at most 2 hours a day was enough fun without android phone or other alternate digital media.
Such amazingness... even though X6 is my 3rd least favorite X game, it's still amazing to me and will always remain a fun game to me, despite flawed level design.
I remember perfectly when I got to the end of the game, it was more than a decade ago, I fell in love with the song, I sang it several times even though I did not know Japanese. Today 2017 I am 26 years old and I enjoy it as when I was 13 years old.
@@godofmediocrity7582 The level design is kinda meh and sometimes horrible but the game isnt that bad as some people say, it did many things right and wrong
@@ElissonDSouza Well, I can respect your opinion, but goddamn either you're the greatest Mega Man player the world has been bestowed, or you like pain, like I do.
*_*”The world’s been saved. And I’m glad. That said, I have a bad feeling about the next time.....what if he does this again?”*_* *_*Zero: “Easy. We send him to hell again and again, X. We’ll be ready.”*_*
Well I love both Megaman and Sonic... So this brings nostalgia from my childhood playing this game (a lot) and the fun fact from Sonic Shorts... So... This song is a win+win for me! XD!
Despite the fact that this was a bad game, i don't see a problem in people liking or even loving this game, if i have to say something good from X6 apart from the music, it's that it made me learn that you don't have to care for other people opinions (in some cases, not always). Like, your day doesn't have to be ruined just because some random dude likes a game you think is hot garbage, just move on. Thanks to this game, (and the people defending it) i learned to not care, and just move on, not everyone it's an exact carbon copy of you. So yeah, the only opinion that should count for YOU, it's your OWN opinion (Unless you do something harmful, but that's beside the point).
Mega Man, and I mean literally all of them, have some unforgettable tracks. Yeah, the game play is kind of repeated, a lot in fact, but CAPCOM gave each game some great songs.
