Thank Heavens for your video!! I thought for a while that I'd need to call the fire brigade to help get this 10cm mat out of my bedroom (I'm 52)! I never gave the deflation process a thought beforehand. Your method works very well.
Thank you for your informative video! You were the only one that showed the toggle attachment which keeps the valve open, when I went back and inserted it, worked!
Is the “out” (deflation) valve a true one-way check valve? If it is, why do you have to close its outside flapper cover several times during the deflation/storage process?
Well after watching this... I was doing it all wrong. The deflation kicked my arse. I barely got it back in the bag and was sweating and saying many curse words. Hopefully the next time will be easier.
I've just bought the single in this (the new green one) - is it ok to fold the single in half as well to deflate and leave stored (as in it does or doesn't damage it doing that)? Had thought of folding it in half as it fits better in my car short and stocky rather than slimmer but longer.
Ready to hit the trail? Who in their right mind would cart that thing around on a trail? Nice product. Is there an electronic machine that will inflate and deflate the pad?
I'm pretty sure Ted meant the Overland trail where it's being toted by your vehicle. :-) At this time, we do not make any electric inflation devices. For a quicker inflation, I'd suggest our Schnozzel Pumpbag www.exped.com/usa/en/product-category/mats/schnozzel-pumpbag-l
