Some shapes are easier to form than others. It’s no secret that although I’ve made lots and lots of different shapes very few are free-formed. I can count on one hand the unique curved shapes I’ve built and it’s time to change that.
On an off-camera venture to expand my knowledge on steinmetz solids I screwed up a mod and ended up with a sphere. The process was in itself a failure as I didn’t build what I set out to make. But by adapting the technique I used to make steinmetz solids I was able to make an almost completely perfect sphere.
In this video I set out to build the puzzle intentionally. As this is one of my more requested mods throughout the years. I’ve taken a little more time to explain the process for those daring enough to try it for themselves.
