@la9102 she brought 99% of it onto herself and if she would have just listened and waited would have gotten everything she wanted. She then betrayed or back stabbed everyone that wanted her safe and alive.
@la9102 I always disliked her because she was so clueless, but what absolutely sent me was the braindead idiocy that was giving an anonymous tip to get Red arrested and exposed to the death penalty so that she would have 'more time to find the truth', but ended having to use all her time to save him (and fail). And she was like, "How could this possibly happen?!?!?!" She just literally had to do as she was told the whole damn show, doesn't do it, but somehow trusts her own judgement to not listen again in the future. She made the FBI look like amateurs.
Megan Boone left because the character she played was dumb and inept. In fact, that task force is as incompetent as they come. The only one with a brain was Aram. Not sure why they never secured a perimeter and never staked out a target, but it was pretty ridiculous how often criminals always managed to slip away from them. It was pathetic and humorous because they were more like the Hazzard County police than an FBI task force.
@@autismmode1663 Megan Boone is a terrific actress, but the character of Elizabeth Keen was interesting but at the same time showed a severe lack of intelligence from someone who was born into the most sophisticated intelligence group in the world. She believed in pathological liars but she was convinced that the one man who saved her life a countless number of times was a liar that she went out of her way to align herself with someone she knew was dangerous in which she had nothing to gain and wound up losing her life for. It was so incredibly inane. No one can be that dumb.
@@autismmode1663 My issue with the character is that she was created from a world of intelligence to become a special woman like her mother Katarina was. She became an FBI, was lauded by everyone for her intelligence, but her actions on the show were always dumb. Every perpetrator always got away every time. They never surrounded the perimeter of any suspect. The only member of the task with a brain was Aram. Had it not been for him, then they would have been doomed from the start. Then the mere fact that Liz believed every pathological liar but tried to destroy the one man who sought to protect her from the really dangerous people in the world. I guess it was appropriate she met her demise by recruiting dangerous people to kill Reddington, only for them to kill her instead.
Elizabeth keen was a super irritating, self-centered, overblown character. Could have been written off sooner. She was virtually an unknown and her arrogance in thinking that she was the main character was an illusion only in her head. Clearly James Spader as Reddington carried the shoe and was clearly the character around whom the episodes ran.
I agree. She was annoying. Could not make up her mind which side of the fence she was on. An entire task force basically dedicated to her whining. “Harold” was a nice guy - but weak. I am not sorry she left.
It was very evident to me from the very beginning that Liz was the most gullible FBI agent I’ve ever heard. After years knowing Red, a woman from nowhere claims to be her mother walks into the situation and she swallowed it “hook line and sinker”. True or not, there should have been a lot of caution.
Well obviously you don’t know what your talking about as the show was cancelled a season later and ratings fell drastically but her leaving was the best thing that happened to the show. We found out nothing in the last two seasons as to who red was what was he to her what was his 30 year plan and what happened to her mom. It was 10 wasted years viewing pathetic situation from the writers.
WOW.......What more to say!! James Spader is just one big explostion of an Actor as well as Meagan but James is just the best!! I got introduced with the show " Stargate " and that's when I said " oh I think this actor is "great" and he will and has a BIG future in acting and it has came to fruition........Onwards and upwards for JAMES. I haven't seen anything that she has done that comes close to Blacklist. Her acting ability was good, but the writers made her role borderline narscistic. I loved Blacklist. It should have continued without Boone. It could have successfully. Nice to be boosting her career, but Spader, she is not. Whomever makes decisions on what people want to see should ask the consumer. There seems to be a lot of unwatchable trash. Occasionally, something new is good, but 90% is a waste of production. Even the bigger hits like " The Walking Dead" can be trashed by incorporating the woke agenda. Haven't seen anything good since Hollywood set new rules that the consumers aren't buying. Just make good shows. Stop trying to make bad actors into something they clearly are not. Great movies with great actors are what people want to see. Everything doesn't have to be woke.
Absolutely NOBODY wept over Liz's death when having to consider that vs Raymond's. Liz was garbage and Red made this show the only show who ever remained interesting at double digit seasons.
What crap where’s Megan telling you why she left it’s your opinion you have no proof that’s why she left. Also playing characters in two shows an episode in each doesn’t show depth. If you want examples of depth look at kaley cucco from the Big Bang. Two major series with her name at top billing. You know nothing about why she left your speculating but that wouldn’t get views stop making things up.
That's definitely clickbait. But besides the point, it is speculated that she wanted to get paid more or the same as James Spader (who presumely got paid more). Her reason of "to pursue different roles" is an excuse, in my opinion. Don't get me wrong. If she was really offered another big role for another tv series as a the main cast, then her choice would actually make sense. Otherwise, why would you leave a great tv series, in which you are the main cast. There would only be a few reasons. 1.) not getting paid enough. 2.) problems with co-worker. 3.) personal problems that may involve either illness or family related. 4.) being burnt out. The whole "wanting to pursue a different roles" seems fake. She is getting paid 100k per episode. Actors/actresses don't give up main roles unless it is really important like illness problems. Just my two cent. And yeah, James Spader is the man. He's a f**king Lizard King.
I have not gotten to the point she gets shot. For me, James Spader IS the show. The Elizebeth character drove me as crazy as the worst FBI agents EVER!!! That's what I always yell to my wife when they botch something any real law enforcement never would. People escape from them on foot in the dead of winter. How? Broad daylight, you can see movement from a mile away. Yet somehow they manage. They storm countless buildings but leave nobody outside to prevent anyone from escaping. They have done this so many damn times it's tiresome. Don't get me wrong. I love the show and have to force myself to overlook some of the stupid things they do. I do though because Raymond Reddington is one of the greatest characters ever written and James Spader brilliantly brings Red to life. I won't miss her character at all when I get to that episode.

Ok she did know everything when she died. She knew that red was really her mother with a sex change and not her father. He took her to that country and showed her everything about how the black list worked. The rest of the show she knew that Red was actually her mother. So I don’t understand how you are saying you wanted her to find out this or that. She knew everything. She even told her daughter before she died that red was her grandmother. So, this whole thing you are saying doesn’t make sense.

There was 22 episodes per season. It's a network production thatvis now ON Netflix, not a Netflix property, so the seasons are longer. 22 episodes = 2.2 million per season.
I don´t agree ore respect she was leaving the show when they only had like 2s left if s9 and s10 is the last heard they wheir not bad and mange with out her. I think actors and every one involved have resposibilty to the fans to hyped series like this one same with rick from twd and so many others back in the day they had longer contracts and valued the fan more and actors stick around for long time that shows resepct and love atlest we still have her sex tape out their if we miss hear O-o
