It's interesting, & maybe I already said it hear. But said, I wz surprised I wzn't more disappointed that she didn't win. The ONLY reason is I just think she's won in my heart & in SO MANY HEARTS of MANY!!!!! ♥️ To think that Kelly Clarkson DID REALLY hear & see 1st!!!! What an amazing bookend!!!!

I KNOW I wholeheartedly AGREE!!!!! She CAN sing anything & take songs, you wouldn't even think of!!!!!! I honestly think her rendition of Faithfully should be recorded!!!!! BUT the only thing that I don't love about the video of her song, is I KNEW when she would perform it LIVE, she would do what Megan does SO BRILLIANTLY when she JUST LETS LOOSE near the end, where she is held back a little to me in the video. I ALMOST would love if she could do a LIVE album!!!!! But I have seen Carrie Underwood let loose on songs in video recordings!!!! One of my favorite duets if hers is with Brad Paisley, ""Remind Me." I'm sure they had little time.

I've thought a little bit more about comment, in terms of the video. I think maybe where I wasn't be fair to the Producer, who has recorded for Carrie Underwood, & listed a # of Country artists that, they probably had a much shorter time than usual. I'm torn b/c hearing her live must if been something. One Producer does a 1/2 hr interview & said the few times she was able to watch them live was incredible & something we can't quite get at home. I'm hoping that that it might be to her advantage that she didn't win. B/c I know the winners are locked into a pretty long contract with Idol!!!! It was why Kelly Clarkson in particular was SO relieved when hers wasn't finally done. I had assumed Gabby Barrett won her season b/c I hadn't yet started watching Idol again. Ppl said this to me, last year, when I was hoping Huntergirl would win, that it actually probably would've hindered her!!!! Megan said, when Ryan asked what do u want to do 1st when you're done. (something to that affect ) Megan immediately said, "MAKE MUSIC!!!!!" When it was the top 3 standing there, & then her & Colon, u could DEFINITELY HEAR MEGAN'S NAME being shouted from the crowd!!!!!

Man, I was sobbing as well!! Not just tearing up, but SOBBING!!! 😭 Plus, the anniversary of my Dad's passing is in 2 days & my Dad, how she talks about her Paw Paw🐾 is how I FEEL about my Dad!!! He's made me who I am & know he's in heaven & is my heart!!!! LOVED HER CHOICE OF SONG!!!! Luke was SO right about how she ENDED the song, in Megan's own way!!!!! GOSH, Megan's NEVER made me a bad or wrong song choice, once, in my eyes!!! BUT I would've NEVER predicted this song, but hearing the lyrics thru Megan, gave it a whole NEW meaning for me!!!!!! Her love for Paw Paw, her home town & ALL who've supported her & the ENDING when SHE LOOKED UP, I could just FEEL her singing to her Paw Paw & to her Heavenly DAD whom she's BELOVED BY! And whom will NEVER ABANDON HER! She is FOREVER FAITHFULLY HIS!!!! And He's faithfully hers!!! I knows there's a Ps that says those words, exactly. LOVE how she's stayed true to her calling, her LOVE & HEART for God is SO precious & beautiful!!!!! But Luke was right, I mean the ENDING & where she took it to, that's Megan!!! ( Side note, wz disappointed a little when she was singing with Lauren Daigle, which is a beautiful way to bookend from her audition, BUT...I DID actually think hold Megan had to hold back & I missed her NOT having a break out moment, like she did when she sung it as a solo & hearing her sing "OXYGEN" during her solo performance, was AMAZING!!!!!!! So, for that reason I'll still probably keep listening to her version.

Though millions disagree with you, and my youngster homeboy bruddah won it, I would not have any complaints if Meghan won it all either. But the thing is, how amazing and astounding that Iam had won this thing beating out two country music contestants, knowing that country fans for whatever reasons are the most loyal fans who religiously vote for their artist, whether or not in general they may not be the best singers and or artist every single year. History proves this. Out of 2, it should have been almost guaranteed one of the country singers would win. The people voted and Iam won! Though I do believe Meghan will be the next rising female country music superstar. But the country loves loved Iam and he will also excel. He already had the top song on ITunes. ALOHA!
