Megan has been a Certified Child Life Specialist in Huntsville, AL for 6 years. In her new role as a facility dog handler, she will work alongside her facility dog at Huntsville Hospital for Women & Children in their pediatric radiology and surgery areas, at their outpatient pediatric therapy clinic, and on their antepartum unit where pregnant women are on bedrest. In their work together, she and her dog will help decrease anxiety and meet specific medical and treatment goals. She is so excited to start working with her new facility dog in meeting the needs of their patients and families!
