These religious debates on homosexuality and if it is right or wrong to be homosexual are extremely boring at this point and I couldn’t care less. I think the issue is to be “religious” or have any type of faith and end up being a horrible human being wishing hate to people that don’t share their beliefs, customs, traditions or way of living. So that soccer player might be a great religious person to whatever denomination she belongs, but a bad human being. That’s all.

Ask Rapinoe's past team mates. She is a bully. She's been washed up for years, and never was a good player at all. Just look up her stats. She should not have went to the World Cup. There are young women that can run circles around her. It was her celebrity status that kept her on the team. Something that would never happen in the men's game. Of course the younger players are happy she is gone. They were watching a dinosaur that could not keep a penalty kick below the pole. Rapino is a joke in the soccer world. The ultimate meme. No real linguist has done anything that this person has claimed. The Leviticus text is exceptionally clear. It was clear when it was originally written. It was clear when The Apostle Paul used it to condemn homosexuality in New Testament Greek. It was clear when scholars initially translated it to English. It is clear today.

Infallible humans in texts from 1000's of years ago, copied and translated through history more than all other texts of antiquity COMBINED, all said essentially the same thing across vast stretches of time. And what they said was so simple that any mature human anywhere, and in any period of time, could understand, test, and confirm it for himself. What they said was so profound that it reliably causes God Himself to emerge before anyone who would, in total sincerity, humble themselves to it.

Agree mostly but ‘Judeo-Christian’ is a cringe term. It’s logivally obvious that if you genuinely believe in God, and that he created man and woman as such and such to procreate, homosexuality is not ‘favored’ by God. Also this highlights the incompatibility of liberalism (in the classical sense) and any faith-based worldview.
