Megan:Their not scary then. I thought they kill people they don't their fine then. SHE GOT SENT BACK IN TIME SHE'LL DIE BEFORE SHE WAS EVER BORN HOW IS THAT FINE!!! Megan: yeah... 😂😂😂
Technically, given “you told him you were eighteen, you lying cow”, Kathy was OVER 20 years old… so she was alive as a small child when she died as an old lady.
In an episode where the terrifying monsters ONLY 'get you' when you stop looking at them (like, say, when you Blink), Megan REPEATEDLY covers her eyes/face with a pillow! Irony. (Hon. The Weeping Angels woulda killed yo @$$ fifty times over!)
Yep, Blink is one of the best episodes of New Who. One of the best for presenting the show to new fans. The angels are a staple of how amazing new who villains can be. In this one, The Doctor was defeated before the episode even started.
I disagree. It's probably an episode NOT to show a new fan. There's hardly any of the main show characters. If you're gonna bring in a new watcher start with a new doctor. Or at the very least a new series.
@@georgiespencer895 I understand. Now those same reasons are the ones that make me like the episode. It gives a taste of the series, the time travel, the chilling enemies and the stakes while not attaching the viewer with any one character. Given that the series does changes its cast sometimes it is better in my opinion for the new viewer to get hook with a concept rather than the characters.
She would have been so done in by the Angels early. The fact they explained that you can't blink or look away, or else you get sent back in time, but she constantly looks away/hides is hilarious.
Automatonophobia is installed. Wait till you get Nyctophobia, and Aquaphobia, along with repeating speech phobia, and fear of silence. You'll experience all that and many more.
Well, we've all been waiting for this one! Megan, I was SO YOU the first time I saw it! It's very scary, but it's also very deep and thoughtful. For a guy who can travel in time, few episodes have used time travel so extensively. The Tardis is usually just an elevator (lift) that takes you to a new world where you're going to have an adventure. But this, with the message under the wall paper, the old man in the hospital, the easter egg on the videos, etc... The possibilities of time travel and setting things up for the future are finally used as central story elements. It's so good!
Sorry Megan, this is the most hilarious reaction to this episode i've seen. Obviously this is one of my favourite episodes, and the Angels are my joint favourite enemy with the Daleks.
Even more hilarious than I expected. Just how old are you?! Pity you haven’t introduced Megan to the DW tradition of hiding behind the sofa, although we’d have seen even less of her than behind the cushion. It’s a definite top ten episode, but there’s no river and precious little Doctor so it drops behind the library and various Moffat era episodes for me. And Doomsday of course.
1:00 I don't even now there's a gold chocolote bar XD What a lit ringtone. - Megan when she's living in 2007. 5:24 Wait, did he said "The windows are the wrong size"? Huh, throwback to (spoiler to Megan) Twice Upon A Time, I guess :v 9:52 That's the face of relieved, and also hope, when seeing the TARDIS at a distance XD
Azizul Adnan windows are the wrong size was a shout out to the folks on the old outpost gallifey bulletin boards, where Moffat, who wrote the script (later was show runner), used to post. Folks there complained that modern Who TARDIS windows were the wrong size, since they didn’t match the original series TARDIS windows.
Great reaction! Megan's reaction is great and similar to mine when I first watched it. It might have taken a while but she eventually became really scared of the Weeping Angels, which was fun to see. I also don't have a problem with you looking at Megan often to see her reactions. You're just interested to see her response to the story. Blink is one of my top episodes and it's a really clever story. Definitely one of Moffat's best.
STOP LOOKING AT HER EVERY FIVE SECONDS AND LET HER REACT! IF SHE DOESN’T GET IT RIGHT AWAY TOO BAD! THAT’S WHY IT’S A REACTION! Sorry I just had to rant. It’s really annoying to keep looking at someone hoping for a reaction from them or hoping that they understand what’s going on. If she doesn’t understand then explain later. I’m probably gonna get eaten alive by everyone but idc lol btw I really do love the reactions. Just a bit of criticism from a fan is all lol
I know they are in a relationship but he looks at her every 5 seconds, strokes her and talks in a very soft voice while constantly smiling. I found it a bit creepy.
he wants me to react as much as everyone else watching the video. why can't he watch me react ? he wants to see my reaction too :) also I'm quite slow when it comes to telly, so Elliot is just trying to help me understand along the way.
I don't think Blink is a top episode, it's good the first watch or few, but then it's just average. It's not as epic or funny or interesting as others.
Please stop looking at her every 2 seconds waiting for a reaction. It's so frustrating. Let her figure things out on her own, and if she doesn't get it, explain at the end.
Tbh I like the episode, but it's very very overrated. I just don't think it's absolutely brilliant. It's just ok. Nothing to go on about. It's like a 6.5 Maybe 7 out of 10. Definitely doesn't deserve to be up there as one of the best episodes of all time.
