This vid prouve that you can not win mega when you start far from top riders in terms of line. I raced it in the early 2000's. Was on the last line in qualies. Manage to qualify into finals but my starting line sucked again. This vid remind's me my own mega (apart the start from the glacier).
if you are cruising it takes you 1.5 hours to get to the hotel :) from the top (3300M) but this run was shit.. i did this before it was cool.. less traffic / people in 10-11-12-2015

Yeah dude bmx skills translate VERY well to mtb. I started out with bmx myself and when I first got a mtb my friends were blown away by how good I was first ride. You'll have an easy transition and you'll likely never look back. Welcome to mtb!

OMG i hate it when i have to over take 1 person walking their dog on the path i ride on , i couldnt handle so many people battling it out like that. im getting triggered just watching this lol. Awesome to watch tho . when it comes to racing MTB i would make a good spectator .=p
maybe think about telling people you are passing on their right or left instead of sneaking up and fucking up their line...how many people did Sam fuck up by just slamming by them?
