Take a wild run with Louise Ferguson down the 2019 Megavalanche course. Louise rides for Descent World on: Radon Slide 10.0 Funn mtb components Industry nine wheels.
After tripping up on the snow I wasn't expecting you to have such an awesome run, I was wrong, Great riding and so respectful to the other riders, loved every minute, Thanks for the up-load!!
RU-vid offers on 2x speed. I downloaded the video and ran the video in a local player which gave me 4x. Even then it was boring to watch. I tried 8 and 12x as well to no avail.
Great video! This girl, who was filming, is a very cultured and well-mannered child:" Thank you, Merci, Sorry ....". Besides, she is always positive and smiles. Greetings from Ukraine!
Awesome race Louise, shame the e-biker interrupted the best megavalanche fight with pinky. Even better fight than Bron vs Borges IMO. Hope the Mega is back in 2021!
Watched the hole video, did enjoyed it a lot. Great ride and I liked you smiling at the snow section when you fell down. Congrats also being so polite, thanks for the video.
Thank you so much for inspiring and sharing the mtb fever. Louise Ferguson is such a lovely person and a talented athlete. My daughter (12) dreams of running Megavalanche, too, since she first watched your video.
:>) ok everyone knows the guys went first race, rutted up the track and that's why all the girls wiped out:>( but I can appreciate the hill butt slide with your bike that was a killer move and exciting, thanks for uploads all the best 2020 from Canada much respect. Live in the moment for that moment and Love life.
@@oooBASTIooo ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4Y4kV3o6XHw.html The surface is really only good for maybe the first 10 to 20 racers. Everyone else after that has to be extremely lucky not to fall/slide. Including later starts/races.
@@doubleT84 No, the people in the back of the field are simply not good enough to cope with the conditions... Same as the women. Just watch a race where someone good starts in the back.. Only reason good people will fall there is something happens directly in front of them. The video of the person you posted is from someone who did this race for the first time and probably never trained for the conditions.. If you want to see a good racer going down from the back, watch this: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-n_7gkhSjSjY.html
@oooBLATlooo The women didn’t start their run after the first men’s race, they started after the men’s ebikes. Those are 10 to 20kg heavier than regular bikes and would have churned up the snow something shocking. If you watched a full men’s race you’d see even the best riders got bogged down on the patches of soft snow lower down on the course.
It's a shame they don't get the same packed and prepared surface as the men. That'd be a totally different situation, they could ride the more solid ice track and people wouldn't make fun of them.
This was one of the first Megavalanche videos I ever watched. Still one of my favorites. Gutsy ride and great batlle with the gal in pink. G'luck with your Downhill career
Watch the girls and you realize, what lazy ass couch potatoes most of those nasty "critiques" here in the comment section are, down in their mommy's basement. (I'm not referring to you, 3V!)
Absolutely great race Louise! Great footage! Lots of fun riding along with you in the video. I tip my hat to you and all the other female racers. What a ride! Wow!
The guy with the backpack? Not much of a gentleman was he? I think she would have got past the other girl if he hadn't held her up. Also the girl who fell right in front of her should have let her past. Obviously some riders are more polite than others.
I’m very impressed. They may have had an issue with the snow at the very beginning but when they got past that, they were fantastic. I wouldn’t do that in a million years.
Hats off to Louise Ferguson for a superb descent after the early falls on the slushy snow high up. It takes courage, skill, stamina and strength to get down Alpe d'Huez in one piece. Nice to see the cameraderie between the riders.
A precedent example of how to behave politely towards competitors and spectators. The main thing is to have fun and respect others. Fantastic race I enjoy watching.
This is super awesome. I'd love to try this race out for sure... nothing more fun than enduring something so physically difficult and actually making it to the finish.
This action was hotter than the Battle of Endor. I see you challenging yourself to stay on the heels of a better rider. RESPECT. You're a better rider than I am.
cheered on you, felt the frustration when others drove slowly to not move fast enough, stood upright and clapped when you reached the finish line. respect
Really enjoyed being onboard for this run. You're powerful on the pedals - great on the flat and up hills. I don't know how you do it. Thanks for posting the video.
Excelente video, es impresionante esa carrera en bicicleta montaña, son muchos obstáculos que pasar, admiro a la participante de esa carrera por su tenacidad. Saludos desde Saltillo, Coahuila México.
I'm not even racing, but my hand was shaking at the opening sequence. Can only imagine the adrenaline rush the riders must have, so close before the start of the race.
Wow!! So exhilarating watching this!! Seen lots of the mountain alps bike races and thought it was so tough you’d never get women to do it! And now they have!! So they are as tough as the men!! And so polite letting each other pass!! I couldnt! Thanks Louise.
There’s no way I could continue this race. I’d be laughing to tears😂😂😂!!! It’s a lot of fun riding in the snow. I haven’t done it in a while, and forgot how much fun it can be!!! Go Ladies!!!
Wonderful trip going with you. You are awesome. I respect your courage to do this journy, and also your gentle way to ask free way to others eventhoug yuo are exhausted. Hope some day you let us know in a picture, who is that lady, so brave and kind at the same time. Thanks for sharing such a incredible trip. Greetings from Mexico city.
