Meghalaya CM writes to Assam CM seeking probe into death of Niksamseng Ch Marak at rehab centre in Goalpara
Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma has sought intervention of his Assam counterpart Himanta Biswa Sarma for a probe into the death of Niksamseng Marak at a rehabilitation centre in Assam's Goalpara district. The Meghalaya Chief Minister's intervention comes after family members of 36-year-old Marak alleged that he was murdered in the rehab centre.
