Then there's the job - the BRF represents more than 3,200 charities in the UK each year, & in the slimmer Monarchy that's a lot of official engagements, plus there are all of the unofficial events as well. They are devoted to doing the job - which must always come first, second, and third - rain, hail or shine. Imagine a world where these charities didn't exist! Each individual organisation supports British communities commendably, and they couldn't maintain their financial standards without the support of their Royal patrons. The Royal family does a mighty job - for the UK and all of the Commonwealth - but I don't think they receive nearly the credit for their commitment & hard work much less for their sacrifices.
